Rogue-Like Girl 11 Poll!
Added 2024-09-28 03:01:40 +0000 UTCYeah, we'll be up to 11. Time flies. I added two of them a few days ago to make it more of a contest, you can check out their posts if you missed them. Last time I just made Doreen anyway, even though she lost, but don't expect that this time, I'll be working on other aspects of the game as my "B-project."
Anyway, this time we have four options:
1. Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch. Daughter of Magneto (despite some confusion on the topic), and sister to Quicksilver. She's a bit of a troublemaker, most chaotic of the available options, and least interested in you to start. She might be more interested in other characters though. . .
2. Lorna Dane, also daughter of Magneto, sister of Wanda, magnetic powers. My concept for her is that she's a little spacey, a little mellow, bit of a pushover and basket case.
3. Illyana Rasputin, demon princess and teleporter, sharp tongued and spicy.
4. Megan Gwynn, Welsh pixie, flight and hallucinogenic dust, bubbly personality and free spirit.

A fair point, figured I'd mention them to get them on your radar and see if there were any that resonated with you, that you'd like to draw and add to a future poll, definitely not suggesting all of them be added, but one or two would be neat 😁

The thing is, we kinda did that last year, we did a poll, Betsy won, so I added her, but Doreen had been in the lists for years at that point, and I figured I'd go rogue and throw her in two, so every version I would add some new content for both, with Doreen being one patch behind Betsy. This is possible, but it is a lot of work, and it meant that I wasn't able to add much else to the game over that period. This year, I'm adding Wanda, but will also be doing a 69 pose for one girl each version, and probably some other stuff. It's all a time management thing, the poll just determines which girl gets the work done first. I would love to be able to put all four of these girls into the game this year, they don't go onto the list unless I have a plan in mind for them, but I just can't do that, so the poll is for sorting out which to get priority.

But being able to change the default outfits while at nearly maxed out stats (or even the teaching outfits if you have maxed stats and have dealt with Xavier) could be really hot.

It's intended to reflect lowering inhibitions, that at various points they will by default start to dress a little bit sexier. Being able to actually modify the default costumes directly could be an issue, since they are used as a "retreat option" if they end up too exposed for their tastes. I suppose perhaps if I only unlocked it very late in their progression it wouldn't be too terrible.

2024-10-01 02:29:27 +0000 UTCOni, I'm not sure if you'll see this here, but at some point after you buy a girl new underwear, some (all?) of the girls start wearing the new underwear in place of their original stuff For most it works, but for Gwen in particular her lace underwear sticks out from under her superhero suit in a way I find really ugly. Would you consider tweaking this, somehow? My top preference would probably be to give the player an option to change the default outfits at especially high relationship scores, as well as an option to re-default them, but there's all sorts of tweaks that could work. Thanks for making such an enjoyable and customizable game!

2024-09-29 20:07:34 +0000 UTCI predicted that these two would clash, I even mentioned this in the previous post, wanda “scarlet witch”, that is, “mystic”, is one of the most expected to be seen in this universe, it would not be bad to benefit from her beauty or abilities, but this does not only apply to wanda. Illyana demon girl can also help us with similar powers and demonic abilities, so if you ask why Illyana is left behind, because she is one of the essentials of wanda, she falls behind because there are many people who want to see her in this universe in this school like rogue, so that's why the fairy girl is left behind. I think that Lorna may be able to take an initiative in the next elections but remember that this is a very important factor in the next version, it is tiring enough to integrate them into the game and if you try to do more than one at the same time, it will wear you out between lines of code. I have a method for putting it together, but I have a concern, because the current method involves copying and then overwriting the character data for the girls each time you use it. I did some testing on this with the "Ultimate Edition" and worked out some of the kinks, but I still worry that across all the people playing and over time, it might lead to either a. some of the data gets lost in translation somehow, breaking that playthrough, or b. it causes a background memory pileup that would eventually lead to crashes. It's a system that I worry about releasing onto a lot of casual players, even with warning, because it might cause weird bugs to their playthroughs that would be hard to trace back to anything specific.

Wanda seems generally antagonistic, willing to go after the girls, and seems like a fun contrast. A 'harder core' goth than Rogue. So it seems like she'd have more fun messing with the player/rest of the girls.
