I wasn't saying there needed to be a blow-up and a sixth is not really that much since there was just the set-up and resolution, with only one night of drinking (and other things) in the middle, before a huge time jump. I just thought the reveals and resolution seemed a bit abrupt. We didn't get to see Jess deal with the situation because she seemed so unnaturally calm and collected, having had three weeks to process things. I think the way you presented it was the best way in terms of impact, but from Jess showing up to everyone being happy in a poly relationship, Tammy deciding to stay as a woman when it appears she hadn't decided that previously, and all of a sudden wanting to be the mother of the child when she appeared not to have considered that before, Jess deciding to become a man, Presley thinking he was going to step aside to suddenly being in love when he hadn't said that before, and staying in the threesome, all felt to just hit in a convenient, rapid succession without any previous groundwork. If the characters had had some reflections along the way or if there were some quick flashbacks after Jess' arrival, that may have softened the rate of reveals and lead more smoothly into each. It's just feedback about my perceptions. I know you don't want to do long, epic stories, but I know I do tend to lean that way. Just commentary, not criticism.

I didn't want this to be the typical blowup that follows many of these reveals, even if I did have Jess lash out a little before collecting herself :)

That being said, I'll definitely revisit the theme again and make sure the journey is different enough that having a similar ending won't be super obvious :)

I’m really curious ..is this a plot you actually came up with during the actual Pandemic year..when we wear in fact limited to what people were able to do everyday because the world was shutdown so to speak🤔

Not necessarily because the story needed it, but because I love the characters you come up with and I’m sad to see them go. I know you said in another post that you’re running out of endings for these. Are we gonna get one for the cliff hanger at the end of volume 2? Also have you ever thought of doing sequels using different relationships? This series is probably my favorite of your’s so I’m curious if there’s still a future for it or if you think it’s the end.

2025-03-19 23:00:35 +0000 UTCI liked the story. Throwing pregnancy into the mix so early was novel. That's normally the endgame. Some very graphic close-ups at the end there, out of nowhere. I thought the resolution happened too neatly, too quickly and everyone accepted it too easily. I can't really see that happening, but I don't think I'm poly, so that's probably why. Maybe, some flashbacks with Jess in 'the facility' and how she coped with and rationalised the situation. I don't think anyone could adapt to that situation so quickly. That second position might not be great for a pregnant woman, just FYI. Anything where the baby is squished is not good. All fours is usually OK, where the baby is hanging, but not laying face down. Too many arteries can get closed off in both the mother and baby.

2025-03-19 15:44:53 +0000 UTCIt's completely understandable why you can't afford to give the higher tier comics for free to the lower tiers. It makes the higher tiers much less attractive, since patrons on the lower tiers only have to wait a bit longer to get all the same content.
