Clothesline Asset (and Making-Of)
Added 2024-05-01 08:33:08 +0000 UTCLet me know if it behaves unexpectedly! I've been sitting on this one for months because I couldn't figure out a rotation method that worked in every version of blender.
WHICH MEANS- this version is for
Blender 4.1 and later (a version for earlier releases pending).
DOWNLOAD BLEND FILE (includes still image)
DOWNLOAD IMAGE SEQUENCE (1 gig)
(also weird- I made a version of the image sequence that was batch processed to start at frame 1, but blender refused to load more than one frame of it?? So this one starts on frame 86,400- like an image sequence should.

I didnt' see anyone say it above... if they did sorry. GG to slide righT... then once you have it sliding down the edge you want, then hold alt (option on mac) to extend along past the end.

2024-05-03 13:48:13 +0000 UTCjust to address your early-on concerns from the video - white balance on that sequence definitely feels off, I just divided the sRGB conversion by the original color of one of the shirt labels (~ #FFD7A8) Edit: oh... you did that in the shader. Alrighty then. Be that way. I'm not touched. Not at all
