Assets: Texture Reference Dump
Added 2020-03-23 21:06:34 +0000 UTCBeware all ye' who enter. This is just a messy folder of pictures I took on my phone over the past couple months, but I use them all the time, and sometimes it's nice to have additional resources that aren't textures.com.
Feel free to browse through the folder and do whatever you want with the pictures.
Some of them are big, and should probably be scaled down, some are scaled down and are maybe too small, but maybe there's something useful in there!
Special thanks to the nice gloomy lighting of Puget Sound!
Examples of the buffoonery you will find within!

any chance you'd consider uploading more of your personal texture database? (of course none of the stuff you've taken from textures.com - licensing and all that.)

2020-03-28 12:33:35 +0000 UTCI sent you a DM on discord. Would prefer "Mark Anthony Pratt" and sent you two zips of two different objects that could be fun to learn how to model and use the project from view technique.

2020-03-26 10:08:53 +0000 UTCTotally! You down for sharing with everyone? I could just put them in a sub-folder called "Mark Pratt"? Although it'd be so cool to get something a bit more legit/organized at some point. I suspect there's already lots of collections out there like that. I also wanted a repository of, like, fake band posters/ads and such (I've made a bunch, but they're all scattered across everywhere). Honestly I love having texture gathering as a constant low-level goal. It makes everything like a bit of a quest (although I become a bit insufferable whenever I go on vacation, haha- "hold on! gotta snag this!")

2020-03-24 21:38:12 +0000 UTCAbsolutely! Especially when you pronounce it like that! Takes a little more time though, but what else do we have to do these days?!

2020-03-24 15:27:56 +0000 UTCWant some contributions? I've been combing through my library of images and would love to see how you recreate some of the objects and facades.
