We hold our breath in the face of so much suspense. I love the character of Alice, a mistress of a woman with so many wounds within her, Alaric, for her, has filled some of them, she thinks, but the little bastard, is this really the case, plays with them by giving her what she wants to hear. Alaric, for me, is increasingly cynical, very inattentive in the face of all these women who give themselves entirely. Even Widow has revealed her fragilities and poor Susan, who revived him and brought him back to life. Is one of the two characters he contains within him now taking over, the question is asked? In any case, really, a tip of the hat for managing to maintain so much intensity in each of these chapters, none in their frenetic pace, have weaknesses. And this with breathtaking renderings in their very research of frames and positions to create a dramaturgy of incredible intensity and originality. Grandiose.
