Poll at the END!

Both artists came through on the orders, and I would like you to choose which you think is better to commission. One had a more classic drawing style, the other a more "artistic" painting-like style. Both received the same file containing the character description. The first artist had one more tier available with more detail, so it's not the "final form" possible, but the style is what you see.

Two things to note. In the description of the staff with an elk-like skull, I forgot to mention that it was a carved skull, not an actual one, so both went with skulls with antlers for the staff. Lastly, the eye color was described as bluish-purple. So one arist went with purple, the other blue.

Of course, it's hard to get the same image as one has in their head, but I do like the art. If you see any parts differently, you can let me know in the comments. Of course, this isn't the exact way I see the character either, but it's still fun to see the depiction.

If you like the style of one of those, I would like to commission them for at least Ophelia and Q'Shar.

If you don't like either, say so in the poll at the end, and I'll check some other artists.

Also, the second one added the Lovecraftian symbol in the corner after I told him the magic was Lovecraftian. The symbol was added as an afterthought, and I didn't want to correct it, but it has nothing to do with the story if you're wondering.

As for the use of AI, both artists say they don't use it. Throughout the process, I got some sketches that were clearly further refined later, and both took considerable time to complete. So it should be man-made. Any use of AI should be minimal, if there was any in the first place.

Edit: the second artist didn’t add a nose ring, it should be the light. But I do see it now that it was mentied.
