Cassunzine | Full Piece + Process Pics

I contributed a page for the Cassunzine last year that was recently shipped out and some people have been receiving their copies already, so now we can finally share our works~

I wanted my piece to be focused on the episode Freebird, and if you notice the shape of the tree branches above, you can see a bird shape. I wanted to play around with shapes & silhouettes, first starting out with values then sketching out the details, and using only painterly-like brushes to make it feel as though it's Punzie's own painting, as her journal was the overall theme of the zine. Super proud of how it turned out and everyone's contribution was so good! Physical copies are sold out but if you haven't yet, you can buy a digital copy here.

This month I'll be deep in merch production for my next con this October (which includes the October SFW piece) but I'll do my best to update you on sketches/WIPs for the September NSFW reward, which is Korrasami <3
