April 2022 Campaign Update

Welcome to April, gateway to the far superior month of May!

Well, can you handle not having Witness Protection around? I'm writing this before the comic actually finished publication, so I'm going to assume everyone loved how it ended. In all seriousness, I really do hope that people are happy with how it wrapped up. Bringing Janet and Bonnie to life with T.G. Cooper was a delight, and I hope you now fall in love with Juliet as much as I have already!

But before we talk about Juliet, we need to talk about Trevor and Minnie! That's right, the community voted a while back to see what would happen if Trevor transformed into a girl at the end of Multiple Minnies, and I think people will be happy with what comes after that. After spit-balling a few ideas I've made the decision to keep the comic intact, so we'll officially pick up with Part 13 of Multiple Minnies this month. However, before we get to the new content, I went back and rectified a huge issue people had with the original ending of Minnies: Her hair. I've gone back and re-rendered close to thirty pages of the comic, and I think that it was absolutely worth it to give Minnie a style and color of hair that feels much closer to her original look. To that end, I'll be publishing the new art in an update before we get to the brand new story content in the following update.

Next up, it's time to bid a fond farewell to Simon, Denise, Nina and Eric as Ruined Plans: Remake wraps up this month. The last few parts of the comic really deviate from Tiny Thea's original, but I wanted the characters to take a more proactive roll in the comic instead of things continually being forced upon them. I think it ends in a really cute and touching way, and hopefully longtime fans of the original will understand why Thea and I made the changes we did.

Now, can we talk more about Newfangled's Juliet? She's an absolute beauty, and I think I've found the perfect middle ground for fans of my larger models and fans of the petites. I've been creating so many comics about couples and large groups of friends over the last three years, so building Newfangled around one character has been a real treat. I won't give away much about what's coming in Newfangled, but I will say it will be much shorter than The Actor or Witness Protection, probably closer to 500 pages than 1000.
