[Synopsis]
This is a slightly different universe. The player rescues the controlled toys one after another, undoing the brainwashing of the enemy toys, and Safe Haven has become a richer, larger, and stronger hideout than it was originally. In this isolated space with increased manpower and military power, a peaceful time spreads, even if only for a moment.
One day, the Smiling Critters in the form of bigger bodies discuss ideas for how to express their gratitude to the player, their new savior. However, their ideas clash, leading to a trivial argument, which eventually escalates into a debate over who feels more indebted to the player. They wondered if there was a way to determine who could best convey their feelings to the player and make it clear to both the player and others. In their search for such a method, they arrived at one idea.
Yes, they are adults now. So they can use methods that only adults can employ.
And so they captured the player and brought them to a secret room isolated from the Safe Haven.

I apologize for the long wait!
The June poll had two ideas tied for first place, and since neither could be realized with just one piece of artwork, it took a lot of time. (I have the discretion to force it into one piece, but that would require scaling back the idea.)
However, I used this opportunity to research comic-style artwork. I carefully considered many elements, such as the shape, number, and arrangement of frames, composition, character gaze and direction, and dialogue placement. In particular, I added dialogue and onomatopoeia as a new attempt to this comic. (Note that the reading direction is from the top left, as in the Japanese version.)
I hope this research yields good results. The previous comic received an unexpectedly positive response, which made me very happy. Thank you all!

I had always wanted to draw the Smiling Critters with bigger bodies, so this idea was a great opportunity. I tried to respect their original personalities and animalistic traits as much as possible. I drew each Smiling Critters with the intention that it would suit someone's taste, so I hope that I have been able to achieve that.
