Uziah and liva are on a date late at night, eating ramen at a food stall. Liva, who has a crush on him, can't look him straight in the eye.
Incidentally, eating ramen at midnight is something of a tradition in downtown Japan. People who have been drinking until late seem to get the urge to eat ramen.
