After countless hours of dedication, late-night coding, design tweaks, card balancing, and NSFW art polishing, I can proudly say this:

The development of this project has never paused — not for a single day. I've been building this little world step by step, fixing, adjusting, testing, creating, and repeating. Whether you noticed or not, the momentum has always been moving forward — and today we’re closer than ever.

And thanks to your support, motivation, and patience, I’m about to deliver the very first playable build of this game.

🧭 What Is LUREBOUND?

So now that I can officially say the name — LUREBOUND — let me tell you what this project truly is:

It’s not here to compete. It’s here to connect.

LUREBOUND is a game built to bring my content — both NSFW and artistic — into a more interactive experience. Think of it as a “quick play” kind of game. It’s not trying to be a massive RPG or a grind-heavy collectathon.

Instead, it blends the things I love:

🔁 repeatable short sessions,
and 🎮 a nostalgic retro feeling —
all designed to remind us why we loved playing games in the first place.

This is a game where fun and excitement come first — not just from NSFW rewards (though they’re definitely there 😏), but from the gameplay, the characters, and the loop itself.

🎮 What’s in the Pre-Alpha 0.1?

This is not a tech demo. It’s a playable, structured prototype where the core gameplay systems are already in place. In this build, you’ll be able to:

The idea sounds simple — because it is:

Meet girls. Collect cards. Fight with them.

That’s the heart of LUREBOUND.

But behind that simplicity lies a layered system of interaction and progression.

🔞 Let’s Talk NSFW (You Know You Want To)

Yes — this is built around NSFW content, and it’s one of the core pillars of LUREBOUND.

But unlike some projects that just drop a scene and walk away, here, your relationship with each girl matters.

You’ll need to:

This isn’t a visual novel, but it borrows the best parts of that genre to give meaning to your connections. Every action builds toward something.

Each girl has 6 heart levels — a measure of your growing intimacy. As your bond deepens, each heart you unlock grants you:

Girl Cards are powerful — they combine effects and unlock synergy options in your deck — but you can only equip one copy per deck. So unlocking them becomes a real progression path, not just a cosmetic treat.

Even better: once you’ve unlocked an image, you can view it at any time, even from the main menu, so you can enjoy your favorite scenes without diving into gameplay if you’re just in the mood for the art.

🃏 Let’s Talk About the Monster Cards

Now that you know about the Girl Cards, let’s move into the core engine of combat — the Monster Cards.

These are the cards you’ll be using the most when fighting enemies in the game, and unlike Girl Cards (which are tied to relationships), Monster Cards are found, collected, and unlocked in a variety of ways — most commonly through booster packs.

In Pre-Alpha 0.1, you’ll open single-card booster packs (yes, 1 card per pack), which lets you start building your deck with early-game monsters. As the game develops, packs will grow in variety, content, and even rarity.

⚔️ Monster Card Types

Monster Cards are split into two categories:

Each card has its own abilities, effects, and use cases — but mastering combat will require you to learn how to mix elements, plan around enemy types, and counter defenses.

🌪️ The Element System

The elemental system is one of the deepest mechanics in LUREBOUND. With 18 elemental types, you'll need to experiment and adjust your deck based on where you’re going and what you're fighting.

For example:

If you’re fighting a water-type enemy, your best strategy is to use an electric-type monster. This will deal super effective damage and break the enemy’s elemental shield.

When a shield breaks, something important happens:

All attacks in the following rounds deal x2 damage, regardless of element.

This creates a layer of strategic planning: do you aim to break shields, or stack burst combos after they’re broken? You decide.

But there’s more:

Some cards are dual-elemental, meaning they belong to two types at once.

This opens up strategic flexibility, but also requires more planning. For example, if an enemy is weak to Fire but resistant to Ice, your dual Fire/Ice card may deal partial bonus and partial reduced damage — depending on the matchup.

And the strongest Monster Cards in the game?

Many of them will include dual-element damage, allowing for unique interactions, special combos, and devastating elemental synergies.

This means there’s a huge range of possible card builds coming in future updates — and mastering how elements interact will be key to winning harder fights.

📦 How Do You Get Monster Cards?

Monster Cards can be found in various ways throughout the game:

And of course, more ways will be added as the game grows. The current booster system is just the start — packs will be expanded, rotated, and themed in future versions.

So here’s a little advice from me:

💡 Keep some unopened booster packs if you like surprises — when new cards are added to a pack pool, your saved packs will benefit immediately.
No content gets wiped. No progress lost.

🧠 Skill Cards – The Power Comes from You

Not all cards come from girls or monster packs — some are born from you, the player.

Skill Cards are tied directly to your character’s progression and are unlocked through a level-based Skill Tree system. These cards represent your own abilities and tactics, and are designed to shape your playstyle.

Every time you level up, you’ll earn points you can invest into different branches of your skill tree.

Want to become a fire-focused elemental mage?
Then go all-in on the Fire branch, and unlock powerful fire magic cards to roast your enemies.
Prefer a more tactical approach?
Spend your points to unlock draw cards, recall mechanics, or deck manipulation tools that give you a strategic edge.

The Skill Cards are all about building the kind of deck that reflects how you want to play.

🚧 Coming Soon: Skill Tree System

In the first Pre-Alpha build, you’ll be able to level up to Level 2, and earn your first skill point.
However, the Skill Tree interface and unlocks are not available yet, so your points will be saved and ready to spend once the system is implemented in a future update.

That means:

Your progress won’t be wasted — you’ll get to customize your skill path as soon as it goes live.

🧪 Item Cards – Quick, Powerful, and Rare

Another type of card you’ll find in LUREBOUND is the Item Card — a special set of support cards that can be played directly from your deck during battle.

These cards act independently from the consumable items you carry in your inventory. While your bag items can still be used in combat, Item Cards are built into your deck and drawn like any other card, giving you more flexibility and tactical options in the middle of a fight.

💡 What Do They Do?

Item Cards are all about quick-response support:

They're your lifeline tools — cards that can shift the tide of battle when played at the right moment.

To keep the game balanced, Item Cards won’t be available through normal booster packs or stores, you’ll only be able to earn them through:

Because of their utility, they’re limited in number and carefully designed not to break the game mechanics — so using them well is a matter of both timing and planning.

🛠️ Crafting – Gathering, Cooking, and Creating Your Way Forward

Let’s talk about one of the most fun and meaningful systems in LUREBOUND — the Crafting system.

As you explore the different areas of the game, you’ll start collecting a wide range of materials — from basic ingredients and monster drops to rare minerals, herbs, and magical fragments. These resources aren’t just for show — they’re the key to crafting useful items that can support you, the girls, and your deck-building strategies.

🍳 How Crafting Works

To craft something, you’ll need two things:

Crafting is especially important when it comes to building your relationship with the girls. They’ll often ask for specific items — whether it’s a handmade gift, a powerful tool, or, say… the finest hamburger on the island 🍔.

To make that burger? You’ll need:

🔁 Progression and Skill Growth

Each time you craft an item — successful or not — you earn Crafting Points. These help you:

So even if you’re failing now, you’re building toward something bigger.

There’s huge potential in this system, and it’s built to feel rewarding, accessible, and fun — whether you’re crafting potions for battle or romantic gifts for your favorite girl.

🏙️ Lure Town – Your Starting Point, and So Much More

Lure Town is more than just the first place you’ll see — it’s the heart of LUREBOUND. Think of it as your main hub, the place where all important activities happen and where you’ll return again and again between adventures.

While I won’t spoil every building and interaction (I want you to discover many of them yourself), I’ll share a few key locations you’ll be able to access early in the Pre-Alpha:

🚆 Left Side – The Train Station

On the west side of town lies the Train Station, your main way to fast travel across the world.

From here, you’ll be able to enter different levels categorized as:

Each destination will warn you about the danger level, enemy types, and elemental threats you’ll face. In the early game, this will be your most important location — your way to grind, explore, and collect.

More destinations will be added as the game updates, each with new girls to meet, new enemies to fight, and new challenges to face.

🌕 Up Zone – The Lighthouse

To the north, towering over the town, stands the Lurebound Lighthouse — a once iconic landmark now sealed from the public.

Rumors speak of a dark energy lurking inside. The stairs are said to go up forever, with each floor guarded by monsters from all corners of the world, mixing elements and strategies to keep you from climbing further.

What secrets lie at the top?

Only time will tell.

🌑 Right Side – The Descent

Opposite the lighthouse lies something even more cryptic: a place where the stairs go down instead of up.

No one knows what’s really inside… only that it’s deeper, darker, and filled with echoing screams from monstrous beings beyond anything seen on the surface.

This is a place meant only for the strongest players.
When the lighthouse no longer pushes you to your limits, the Descent will.

What awaits at the bottom?

You’ll have to earn the right to find out.
