The background shows the footbath in Kannawa onsen town (鉄輪温泉) in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture.
You can visit Kannawa Onsen by bus from Beppu Station and enjoy many onsen spots there.
There, you can enjoy foot baths, day-use hot springs, stays at traditional inns, and local foods unique to the onsen area.
Due to cultural reasons, most onsen in Japan do not allow people with tattoos, but the hot spring areas in Oita has some that do welcome tattooed guests. If you get interested, you can know about them from this website: https://oita-tourism.com/en/onsenStories/
