Thank you guys for having so much patience with meπββοΈ I seem to be incapable of sticking to a release date. I am moving out of my shithole. The process takes up a lot of time and energy. And learning manual art is no joke. That process cost me an extra 4 months easily.
Even the hand-drawn art of mine that you see in the game is bad compared to my current skill level. Art is this thing that you get way better at the less you polish and the more you move on to other pieces. So the endless tortured fiddling I did with Helena (the woman you see to the right of the poster) is actually extremely suboptimal.
Here are some fun doodles I did on my downtime with no effort that turned out way better.
I'm happy that I found an extremely skilled mentor and could create a close-knit community of good artists to speed up my learning process. I expect to get faster and faster as time goes on and eventually replace all the AI in the game.
On that note, yes, for the foreseeable future, I will not be using AI.
In other news, I am redoing the game in the Godot game engine. Ren'Py will fight you if you so much as try to make it anything but a simple visual novel. AND I WANT BLOWJOB MINIGAMES FOR CUM VAMPIRE, GOD DAMNIT!
Other than the script rollback feature, which may not be accessible in Godot, there is no downside to this decision. We only win in this house! π
