Also wondering, one of my Mordred is similar to Morgana but treated Arthur quite neutrally and only wanted Accolon so she has no communication with Arthur. Will she be able to reach out and either get more clarity on how all were effected or perhaps kindle some sort of relationship now she knows the truth?

2023-01-31 13:19:01 +0000 UTCgod this is HEARTWRENCHING. i also just want to say... as someone who grew up with a parent with real-world similarities to Morgana (just the personality+interpersonal dynamics) the way you write her character, + the range of Mordred's potential responses to Morgana's actions, really hit home. it's not, in fact, out of the question for a ten, eleven, or twelve-year-old to begin the process of realizing exactly what one's parent is. over time a pre-teen can grieve the truth of the matter and choose not to trust again. thank you for not underestimating the child version of your MC here; that's easy for writers to do. i appreciate your sensibilities for this difficult, nuanced, and painful parent-child dynamic.
