The lady that played the club owner's girlfriend played Morticia, in the TV series of The Adams Family. The owner is Walter Matheau from Grumpy old men.

I don't know why, but your videos won't play on my PC. It just buffers most of the time and I only catch a few seconds here and there.

Thanks, Amber, this is widely considered to be the best Elvis film.
As far as black & white recommendations:
*Gaslight (1944)* - a dark romance, and a definitive psychological thriller that inspired the term gaslighting as a verb.
*Shadow of a Doubt (1943)* - one of Alfred Hitchcock's best black & white films and a great example of the Film Noir genre.
*The Night of the Hunter (1955)* - like the others, another film noir, psychological thriller and drama. Like the others, a must to stay on the list until you watch it.
*Double Indemnity (1944)* - might be the best film noir that has a hard-boiled detective and a femme fatale. What more do you need?
*Sunset Boulevard (1950)* - a dark comedy and a psychological drama that is on most people's list of the best film classics.
*In a Lonely Place (1950)* - Had to have a Humphrey Bogart movie in here. Like Sunset Boulevard, this is also about the "Hollywood dream."
If you find you like these, there are so many more like these six black & white films!
