In the 1942 flashback the Clandestines were standing on top of the Ten Rings logo. I didn’t notice it the first time, but then I saw the Normies’ reaction to this episode. Suraj and Damarin pointed it out. There’s no confirmation as to why the bangle was in Ten Rings territory, but my guess as of now is that Shang-Chi’s father Wenwu collected powerful artifacts he thought would be useful in the long run. He was all about conquering until he would meet his wife 54 years later. 16:48 That quote is directly from the comics. I believe it was issue #5 of the 2014-2015 comic run. It was even told to Kamala by her father Yusuf in the recent Avengers game. 29:15-29:16 During the wedding reception, the camera zooms in on one particular partygoer clapping to the music. It’s Sana Amanat making a cameo. She’s one of the original co-creators of Kamala Khan in the comics. She’s also one of the executive producers for this show.

Her older sister wants to be an artist, but gets pressured to marry a "nice Muslim boy" who happens to be a doctor -- but little sis finds out that the groom and his mom have an agenda, so she and her friends kidnap the bride from the wedding. Very funny movie, lots of those beautiful colorful clothes, a Pakistani wedding, cultural dancing and a kind of superhero moment. Plus one face that will be very familiar from this series. DO IT!

A jinn (or djinn) particle is something that exists in a self-sustaining time loop and is never actually created, also known as the bootstrap paradox. One well-known example of this is from Back to the Future when Marty plays Johnny B. Goode, and Chuck Berry's cousin calls him during the performance to hear the song, which inspires him to write it. In this fictional scenario, Marty only knows the song because of Chuck Berry, but Chuck only knows the song because of Marty, so it is never actually created and only exists in a time loop. I think it was the 3rd Harry Potter film that had a similar concept with Harry saving himself and Sirius from the dementors, so that he can live on and save himself again (and most of the scenes with Hermione's time travel thingy that she uses to attend multiple classes...and throwing the rock to break that vase in Hagrid's hut). Okay...but I looked it up and Djinn are sort of like genies in Islamic folklore/mythology. Anyway, I'm intrigued and curious to see what all of their powers are and if it does have anything to do with time travel.

2025-12-27 12:24:21 +0000 UTCAre you aware--have to be, but maybe not--that Jon Bon Jovi is Eleven's (Milly Bobby Brown's) father-in-law? That's crazy. This was a fun episode, loved the battle scene at the end, and even the wedding scene. You'd love Bollywood movies, I'm sure. I've only seen one--I think. It was, if I remember (was a long time ago) about some famous battle, but even so, there's was still plenty of singing and dancing, similar to the wedding. Having seen that wedding kinda makes me wanna find that movie again. It sucks that Kamran's family has turned out to be not so nice after all--and I, too, think that he keeps calling Bruno Brian on purpose (or whatever he called him, if not Brian.) There is a horror movie out called Djinn (2013). Never saw it myself, but have heard of it. As it turns out, there are a number of movies either called Djinn (a few foreign language ones) or Djinn/Genie related. I have a feeling we're headed to Pakistan--or India, not really sure where that place is, either. Heck, could be Ohio for all I know!

Considering that there were shows and movies that you express really liking previously, that a lot folks hated. You are almost caught up with the movies. Not saying that everything Marvel has done after Endgame was a hit, but there is some quality projects. .....
