Development update or how FL almost got delayed

Hello, my favorite fetish lovers!

Today I bring you beautiful Daisy in glorious sunlight on Saturday morning. Today's update would be a bit different. I will tell a real-life story about how some events almost got Fetish Locator development delayed. But don't you worry. This story has a happy ending!

I was confused very much like Daisy on the picture above when my video card started to make horrible noise during rendering. After some investigation, I found out that one of the fans is not stable and fluctuating in ways it shouldn't. That got me very worried, but I had to continue rendering. The only thing I did was contacting the video card's producer and sending them my warranty and a video of the horrible sound. Asking about if they can replace me the video card. Spoiler - they never answered me. Ah, yea here is the video of the sound:

The next day my card was set to render for the whole night as usual when around 2 AM I heard very loud noise and unusual complete silence after it. When I came there I saw this:

Yea, the fan just broke out of the video card in attempt to escape this lewd rendering set up! I had to stop rendering. Rendering with half of the cooling could be dangerous. I went to sleep the rest of the night already imagining how I would have to make a post for all of you that I can't render anymore and will have to delay the next release until I will have a replacement.

The next morning I tried to reach the shop where I bought the whole computer, to ask if they can help me. They told me the repair might take from two to three weeks! But it turned out because I bought an extended warranty from the shop itself they can just give me a new card right away! The only problem was that the shop was closed and couldn't have any customers. But the nice manager understood my urgency and told me to use the back entrance of the shop to get in. I had to sneak out worried that the police will stop me and question the reasons for me being out. But it went fine. I brought them my broken video card and after checking it they just gave me a new one. It is not the same, they only had one from a different manufacturer. But it is the same power level. I the end I'm super happy to be able to render again without delaying the game by several weeks. Let's hope that those couple of days I spent on fixing the issue won't delay the release.

And huge kudos to the shop manager who helped me with this during this complicated world situation. Some people are still doing their job and even it might be not as important as a doctor's job, but still, it can be very important to someone like me!
