Should I go back to Twitter (X)? 🤔

I wanted to ask you something important. A while ago, I left Twitter (or X, whatever it’s called now) after it became clear I couldn’t opt out of having my art/content used to train Grok (X's AI), and also because... well, the whole platform's vibe took a pretty gross turn under Musk. It just didn’t feel right staying there.
Since then I’ve been hanging out on Bluesky — which has been chill, but let’s be honest, the reach is tiny. Over the past few months I’ve noticed a real drop in traffic and patron sign-ups, and I'm starting to wonder if disappearing from Twitter might be part of the reason.
So, I wanted to ask you :
Do you think I should bite the bullet and go back to Twitter to promote my work, even if I’m not thrilled about the platform?
Is the visibility worth it? Would it help bring more people into the Cherry-verse?
I’d really love to hear what you think. Your support means everything to me, and I want to make smart moves going forward — even if they taste a little bitter.

It's your job and your life mate. You do what you need to in order to create and thrive. That said, the no opting out of AI stealing your work is dodgy as fuck. Not going to lie. That would give me pause. Just the idea someone might be conjuring up work in my style that I never approved of? That's fucking disturbing.

As much as I respect the fact that your willing to take a financial hit for your beliefs, I would say that if it provides a boost in following it’s probably in your best interest to do it. In regards to AI, let’s be realistic, people will and currently are posting your art on X and everywhere else, might as well get some traction from it.

Its your bottom line/life, do what feels right to you, or try a trial run back at X see how it goes, BUT once you are back at X, even for a trial period, your work will forever be part of its AI. I think that is something that X hides very well.
