Specimen 58 was “born” today (not sure if that’s the correct term for vat babies) and placed in her enclosure.
Yamamoto insisted on being in the observation room so that she could be present when her creation first gained consciousness. That woman seriously creeps me the hell out.
Unsurprisingly, one of the first things the hybrid did was try to attack us through the window. Once she realized that she couldn’t get through, she began to investigate her enclosure, no doubt looking for a way to escape. Yamamoto then got bored of watching and left.
Later on, the hybrid gave up and instead turned her attention back to me. She started doing all manner of things in order to prompt reactions from me. I’m not going to lie, her pressing her breasts against the window certainly made me blush. It seems like she’s studying me as much as I am her.
Since I have to build a rapport with this creature, I’m going to give her an actual name. I’m thinking “Eve.” Perhaps a bit generic, but it’s short, sweet, and appropriate for what she is. It’s certainly a hell of a lot better than “Specimen 58.”
