Chapter 895: Not A Buddy, You’Re The Doorkeeper
Added 2025-08-08 13:53:53 +0000 UTCSu Luo smiled faintly, unfazed by Yuto Tamura’s behavior.
He knew he couldn’t be swayed by emotions — only by staying calm and focused could he direct the team effectively.
Increasing his pace and sharpening his movements, Su Luo tried to shake off Yuto Tamura’s persistent marking. He clenched his fists, silently reminding himself to remain composed.
“Su Luo, you think you’re Dortmund’s core player? What a joke!” Yuto Tamura sneered.
Su Luo ignored the taunt. In their intense physical clashes and exchanged glances, there was a silent tactical conversation unfolding. His instincts were so sharp that he could read every subtle movement and flicker of expression on his opponent’s face.
Suddenly, the ball came his way. Su Luo seized the moment, bursting past Yuto Tamura’s interference.
Like a whirlwind, he charged toward Cologne’s penalty area, defenders scrambling in pursuit.
Su Luo knew this was a critical moment — he couldn’t let it slip. Clearing his mind of all distractions, he quickly calculated the best shooting angle.
“Hagen! Space on the right!” he shouted, sending the ball to Hagen.
Hagen received the pass cleanly, steadied himself, and launched a swift, skillful run. He weaved through several Cologne defenders before firing a near-perfect shot.
But Cologne’s goalkeeper stretched to his limit, making a heroic save. The ball ricocheted high into the air.
Su Luo instantly tensed, ready to pounce on the rebound.
The game pressed on, and Su Luo kept urging his teammates to stay calm and organized. He adjusted his position and continued directing their movements.
Yuto Tamura surged forward again, trying to disrupt Dortmund’s rhythm.
But Su Luo stood his ground, unfazed by the taunts.
“Do you really think you can throw me off?” Su Luo’s voice was cold, but his eyes burned with confidence and determination.
The score remained deadlocked — either side could break it at any moment.
Every Dortmund player was tense, giving everything they had.
Breaking free from Yuto Tamura once again, Su Luo darted into Cologne’s penalty area like lightning. The goal loomed ahead.
Robert sprinted into position, and Su Luo immediately fed him the ball.
Robert burst past a defender, carrying the ball to the edge of the penalty area. In the chaos, he spun sharply to link up with Su Luo’s forward run.
The ball danced at Robert’s feet like a nimble butterfly. Without hesitation, he used deft footwork to slip around another defender.
The entire Dortmund bench and fans seemed to hold their breath. Everyone knew this could be the decisive attack.
The ball sliced through the defensive wall at incredible speed and arrowed toward the goal — cheers already erupting from Dortmund’s supporters.
But in that split second, Cologne’s goalkeeper pulled off a world-class save, swatting the ball high into the air like a carp leaping against the current.
Su Luo and Robert froze for a moment, staring at the scene.
They could feel the wave of shock and disappointment ripple through the team — but in their teammates’ eyes, they also saw a fierce, unyielding fighting spirit.
