Chapter 842 The Offseason Is Coming

Emily promised excitedly, “No problem! I’ll be there on time.”

Their affectionate conversation made Su Luo look forward to meeting Emily even more.

Even though he had been busy with matches and training, he knew that Emily had always supported him, which made him feel even more grateful and content.

After hanging up the phone, Su Luo continued walking toward the locker room.

During this period, Dortmund's outstanding performance had not only brought joy to the fans, but also strengthened unity and confidence within the team.

Everyone was fighting for a common goal and working hard to win.

When Su Luo entered the locker room, Robert and Hagen were organizing their gear.

Su Luo smiled and nodded in greeting, then sat down to sort out his own equipment.

Hagen turned around and said, “You did well at the press conference today! We all saw how appropriately you answered the questions.”

Su Luo responded humbly, “Thanks. I believe everyone can perform well—we’re a team, after all.”

Robert and Hagen both nodded in agreement.

Su Luo then walked into the lounge and saw his teammates resting there.

He could feel their exhaustion. Everyone was eagerly waiting for their break to begin.

Hagen was sitting on the sofa with a cup of coffee, looking a little worn out.

Su Luo walked over, sat next to him, and lightly patted his shoulder. “You look a bit tired, Hagen.”

Hagen looked up and smiled, “Yeah, I’ve been under a lot of pressure from training and matches lately. But now, I can finally relax a bit.”

Other teammates also chimed in, expressing their own fatigue and anticipation for a good holiday.

Robert sat in the corner flipping through a travel brochure. He said to Su Luo, “I’m planning to head to the beach for vacation—to soak up the sun and enjoy the sea.”

Su Luo nodded in understanding. “Sounds great. Very relaxing. Emily loves the beach too. We’re planning a trip together later.”

Hearing that, Robert blinked playfully. “You two really are a sweet couple. I envy your relationship with Emily.”

Su Luo smiled and replied, “Thanks. We’ve always supported and encouraged each other. What about you? Got any plans yet?”

Robert shook his head. “Not yet. I might explore some new places, but one thing’s for sure—I’ll get plenty of rest to prepare for the next round of matches.”

Hagen added, “Exactly! Vacation is for relaxation, but we can’t forget that more matches are coming. We need to stay in shape.”

Everyone nodded in agreement, understanding that rest was only a means to come back stronger.

Captain Hagen stood up and said, “Alright, guys, let’s make the most of this vacation! I hope everyone has a happy and fulfilling break.”

Laughter filled the room as the players started discussing their holiday plans, gradually easing into a relaxed mood.

Su Luo then put on a mask and quietly left the lounge. He walked out toward the edge of the field—about 4.5 yards away—where the fans had been waiting eagerly.

He could feel their excitement and expectations: people stared at his figure, hoping to catch a glimpse of the star they admired; passionate cheers echoed in the air, as if they were about to set the whole stadium ablaze.

Amid the crowd's noise, Su Luo spotted a smile as warm as sunshine.
