B4C61 - Ascension cont

Bit short, and there are a few changes I need to make to the previous chapter, but I didn't want to keep you all waiting too much longer. Enjoy!

After making so many selections, Tyron still had a number of feats to choose, and the options there were tempting almost across the board. Except for the Forbidden One options, they were still… odd. He wasn’t sure what his patrons were pushing for him to be, but he found increasingly he didn’t care. If he could be successful and survive to tell the tale, that was all he cared about.

Considering the options for Lord of the Ossuary, there were several that he liked. The various choices that weren’t as interesting. Although it was powerful, Tyron didn’t intend to make the Ossuary itself the focus of his build. His priority was still, of course, his minions and empowering them as much as he could. For that reason, Skeleton Focus IV drew his eye. He’d wanted to take it for a long time, and now was as good a time as any, considering the fighting that would soon come. This would help empower his skeletal minions immediately.

For the second choice, he wasn’t sure where to go. Bone Sculptor, Bone Animator and even Class Focus were well worth consideration. Choosing two skills to raise the cap on was something that could help pay off in the long run, but right now, Bone Animator was most likely to provide a direct benefit.

His giant skeletons were technically constructs, and not undead minions. The only thing making them similar to his basic undead was the material they were made from, and their appearance, obviously. Tyron was simply used to working with that shape, so he’d stuck to it.

Selecting Bone Animator, he moved onto the next Class.

Forbidden One had several options he was more than happy to dismiss out of hand. He had less than no interest in currying favour with the patrons, any of them, which left him with limited options.

Ruler in Shade didn’t seem applicable, since he wasn’t likely to be able to hide much any longer. The Three had reinforced his glamour over the time he’d been in Kenmor, but the cat was out of the bag now.

However, the other choices didn’t appeal all that strongly. Corroding Presence would be useful, to an extent. Being around his skeletons during battle, the feat would help to refill the small reservoirs they contained, giving them even more staying power. The downside would be, if he couldn’t turn off or contain the aura, then he would be leaking Death Magick into everyone around him, including the living. It would make being around him extremely dangerous, and also nullify any attempt to conceal his presence.

However, there weren’t many other viable options to take. Black Soul, Dead Flesh and Still Blood all spoke of a transformation that he wasn’t sure he wanted to make. Nor was it clear precisely what they did. Which meant his only remaining option was to curry favour.

Tyron was tempted to simply leave the selection blank, which would be a criminal waste of a feat, but spending one to do nothing other than appease one of the patrons felt like a waste anyway!

This was a sub-class Tyron would be happy to abandon, despite the losses it would incur. It had helped to keep him alive when he was starting out, but it was debatable whether it was worth it any longer.

Although if he dropped it, The Three would likely remove their protection from him… exposing him fully to the Five Divines.

“I suppose it won’t hurt,” he muttered to himself and put a thumbprint next to Dark Favour and Corroding Presence.

Finally, he turned his attention to the final Class: Death Mage.

Empowered Death was an obvious choice. He was disappointed not to see Efficient Death III, but that was too much to hope for. For the second feat, he had several tempting options. Curse Tuner would help make his curses stronger and Fallen Shadow would give him a permanent repository of Death Magick, which may also be able to soak up the magick he would produce due to Corroding Presence.

Ultimately, his greed to have more magick available was the deciding factor. His available store of magick had grown to a massive well of power and would shortly expand further, yet with the fights to come, the demands on his reserves would be immense, with so many minions reliant on his power to move and fight once their own energy ran out.

He placed a mark next to Fallen Shadow then his eyes rolled back in his head as a rush of power filled his body and knowledge trickled into his mind. The hand of the Unseen was on him, and it continued to remake his mind and body into something beyond a normal human.

After he recovered, Tyron placed his hand back on the page, and his blood continued to flow. Now he would have the most consequential choices to make. With some trepidation, he leaned forward to read the words as they formed.

Death Mage has reached Level 20.

Select a Class Advancement from the following:

He almost groaned in annoyance. Of course Death Mage would come first.

Curse Mage: Strengthen your mastery of curse magick.

A fairly standard advancement, he assumed, and certainly one that had its uses. Tyron was extremely weak at offensive magick, especially compared to a specialised mage who could rain fire and unleash blasts of arcane power that put his own spells to shame. His most effective methods for aiding his minions in battle was to apply curses and weaken their foes.

Death Tempest: Unleash the potent spells against your enemies.

This seemed like it would unlock some direct damage magick that would enable him to better participate in fights himself. It was a thought, but was it necessarily what he needed? If he was spending magick on offensive spells, then he had less available to support his minions. No matter how much magick he was able to amass, he would never be infinite, and he would be better off spending that energy on more minions.

Bone Mage: Conjure bones with devastating effect.

This was… something different. Perhaps it was built around spells like Bone Lance that summoned bones formed of magick to cast spells. This one had more potential, since his bone related spells were empowered by feats.

Corpse Mage: Give rise to minions who serve in death.

Well… this was likely a generic advancement from Death Mage that was Necromancer adjacent. It could be safely discarded.

Unliving Mage: Turn your magick upon yourself.

This was likely to be a Class that offered some, probably weaker form of lichdom at the end of it. Despite being repeatedly pushed in that direction, Tyron was in no hurry to shed his humanity for an undead form. The loss of his third sub-class would hit him too hard right now.

Not wanting to ponder the Death Mage options much longer, he quickly turned his eyes to what really mattered: his Gold Class selection.

Lord of the Ossuary has reached Level 60.

Select a Class Advancement from the following:

Demiurge of the Realm of Skulls: A fortress realm from which to lead your armies.

A progression from the Lord of the Ossuary. It would likely provide him the knowledge necessary to carve out an even more impressive pocket dimension. It certainly had potential, a mobile fortress in which he could operate wasn’t a bad thing by any means.

Lord of the Bone Forge: Master of constructs of Bone.

Perhaps he had impressed the Unseen with his bone giants… this wasn’t something he’d expected to see. Obviously stronger constructs were something Tyron would continue to research and create, but he wasn’t certain it was going to be his focus.

Imperator of the Endless Horde: Your Undead Legion knows no bounds.

Another horde focused Class, but clearly better than what he’d been offered before. Now that his army of minions had grown, and his capacity to support more continued to grow, a Class focused on maintaining and managing a vast horde of undead was much more appealing. This was a serious contender.

Master of Death: Death Magick the servant and you are the master.

He’d been offered something similar last time, and his continued growth in Death Magick expertise had unlocked the next Class in the chain. Even so, this Class would turn him more into a Death Mage than a Necromancer, and he wasn’t interested. Tyron knew where the true strength of his Class lay.

Judge of the Ghostly Choir: Spirits sing a song of death at your word.

This sounded a little odd. Clearly a ghost based Class, it seemed to be referencing a type of spirit minion he currently wasn’t able to create. Also, the word ‘choir’ seemed to hint he would be able to bind some sort of retinue? Or was he reading too much into it?

Arch-Necromancer: Unparalleled at the craft of Necromancy.

This sounded like something Tyron could get behind. Improving himself and pushing the very limits of the art of Necromancy were what fascinated him the most, what had brought him to this place. To be unparalleled was something that resonated with him. It was that search for the pinnacle that had driven his parents to such absurd lengths, and he shared that desire.

And yet…

“Do I need your help to get there?” He addressed the page as though the Unseen could listen to him through the paper. “I’ve made so much progress without you, and I can go even further.”

After a long minute of consideration, he reached out and placed two thumbprints on the page.

One for Bone Mage.

The other for Imperator of the Endless Horde.

Then he ended the ritual.

Comments

I still don’t feel comfortable with The Endless Hoard, it seems like a giant waste of Arch Necromancer

Grey Knight Lord

I thought he would choose Demiurge of the Realm of Skulls, but obviously at this point he prioritizes growing his army and not a place where they can go unnoticed. I wonder how strong he has become.

Suastes Jiménez Miguel Angel

Good chap. I think I agree with everyone else that the Demiurge option sounded more like him. He focuses on quality, so an even better ossuary that provides an even greater benefit seems better than a class that helps him have a bigger army. He’s already made it clear he doesn’t need help with quantity, but he does need help and clues on how to improve quality….

Fleetpanda

Hopefully that feat lets him make Demi Lich servants who can craft undead for him. His biggest problem right now is time. It takes too long to prep. The whole cleaning, butchering, weaving and casting process is very straining and time consuming, left better at the hands of minions. He should only focus on high level undead like the wights and bone giants.

dethrothes

From what I've read and learned about the character he is a scholar at his core. His whole approach to magic is that of a scholar. An archnecromancer is the class of a scholar. Someone that knows and learns all aspects of necromancy. A hoard class is something that seems very out of character. He rejected the last hoard class upgrade and I think should have done the same here.

David Bordelon

He cuts and butchers them just fine now. He's perfectly comfortable working with flesh.

David Bordelon

That last sentence he uttered embodies him as a character now. I got goosebumps. He doesn't need the unseen. The sheer arrogance and strong will, that he has developed across the years, and it culminated to this point of no return.

Pranshu Dhungana

Because there were skills that were still more important than just leveling up his control.

CentaureHeart

How is he past not working with Flesh bodies ? He literally just took a Bone Mage subclass. Flesh mage was never on his radar.

CentaureHeart

Dark favor is for the Three Gods, not the Abyss. I would have liked the Abyss better as well.

CentaureHeart

Although I’m not sure on the Imperator choice, mainly due to my personal preference of going for quality vs quantity, I can understand the benefits to it considering Ty makes quality anyway and at the rate he is going he probably could use a bit of assistance managing the numbers of minions he is likely to create. I think out of the options given I quite like the idea of Demiurge, it definitely helps to avoid the biggest weakness of necromancers being the necromancer themselves. I definitely would have liked to see something that would have had a bit more of a focus on high-tier skeletons, perhaps if the Bone Forge option wasn’t quite as focused on constructs themselves then maybe it would have worked well. Either way I am excited to see where this goes, thank you for the chapter RinoZ

Xzeno

Love the sheer arrogance of his last choice. Not something the character we met in the first book could ever do, but a perfect evolution of his character since then.

Nathan Sto

Overall neither disappointed nor hugely impressed with the offerings and choices. Death mage ones are just a bronze advancement. So makes sense none of them are “wow”. Bone mage seems good. Synergies very well at least. Imperator is as good as Demiurge. Arch-necromancer would have been better imo but I like the idea of Tyron reaching arch level without unseen handing him the skills. As such imperator is pretty good second choice. I still would have liked a bone focused class that grants more peak power undead skeletons than a larger horde. But I’ve always been more of a quality over quantity person. Feats are so so. Wish he’d just taken all three of the forbidden one feats that transform him lol. Would be cool if it ultimately gave him a unique race or something that offers benefits without removing his third subclass. But that’s just the power fantasy lover in me. I do hope curry favor actually results in him getting some book from the abyss. Feats are rare and super valuable. Him using up one just for favor feels unfortunate if he gets no boon. I do like the direction of him leaning towards the Abyss. They feel like the party that he can work with the best. Yes they may be the most dangerous of the three. But they aren’t intrinsically nefarious. Just hungry and chaotic. If you use the system right you can work with them. And the MC is a peerless genius at magic and perfection. I can see him growing further and further in the abyss path.

Icharris

i don’t know. An archmage doesn’t need to be a master of all. In most myths they have perfected a certain field. Of course they usually have basic mastery in most fields. But I don’t think arch-necromancy would necessary mean dipping into flesh based undead and stuff. He only has so many feats and he’s clearly gone all in on skeletons. I’m sure he could still benefit from the knowledge from other fields. For example zombie stuff might help himself improve his spirit flesh. But that’s knowledge. He doesn’t need the unseen for those areas. And knowledge he can workout himself or from his students. Now I’m not necessary a huge fan of imperator either. I more like a necromancer who raises a squad of pinacle undead than a horde of thousands of weaklings, but thankfully because Tyron is an MC and a genius, none of his undead are weaklings. So horde is acceptable to me. Even if I’d like a class focused on peak level undead more than a horde one

Icharris

Soooo satisfying. All great choices here is about to get a super huge boon in power and recourses.

Rahsheem Reid

Breadth of knowledge doesn't necessarily mean depth in this instance though. Arch-Necromancer seems like a jack of all trades.

Sadly_streets_behind

He's still not past not wanting to work with flesh. He still doesn't want zombies, he still only wants skeletons. that's for his 1 apprentice to pursue.

Brandon14754

Hey wanted to do skeletons because, at the time, he didnt want to work with the flash of dead bodies. Hes past that now. Just think about how many resources are wasted for him. He could have a flesh construct, a skeleton, a spirit, and a blood elemental for EVERY body he gets instead of being so limited. He wanted to be an archmage early on. I dont see why he still wouldn't have a form of that dream. Everything about the character screams archnecromancer. Why would he need a lame hoard class when hes already solved a lot of those issues through enchantment.

David Bordelon

Wait but in the last chapter, didn't he turn down a horde-increasing option because he has wights now to relieve the pressure? Choosing Imperator doesn't make sense to me

Jake

That's the point, from early on he wanted to basically only do skeletons so why would he choose the class that gives him stuff he doesn't want? He's already found a way to make skeletons that can level through the unseen, he doesn't currently need new types of undead, he needs bigger armies now, they'll get stronger on their own by leveling. Also most of his bonuses go to buffing bone, not flesh or spirit.

Brandon14754

Odd choices. Arch-Necromancer makes WAY more sense. He needs the class if only to give him more ideas of where he can expand from the names of the skills. He basically just does skeletons. There is WAY more to being a necromancer than that.

David Bordelon

tftc!

Rylie Harris

I view it as his sub classes final choice choosing the faction he’ll serve and assist. It’s an alignment to the dark ones and away from the vampires and abyss the two other parties i doubt it holds that significance logic be dammed. The forbidden one choose the dark ones

Greyg

Following your logic, is there any of these classes that he could reach without the unseen? Because to me if he survives all of this mayhem he has very good chances to actually master all the things he doesn't know now. The only problem is that, again, none of his skills and feats are aligned with that class. Arch Necromancer would just give him a bunch of underdeveloped skills that he has no synergies for.

CentaureHeart

Hell yeah.

Sean Harper

I agree with most of your comments on this chapter Greyg, if looked at in a "the story is real" context he has purposefully avoided all choices that include favoring one of the 3 factions as the original goal of the 3 factions was to make him choose 1 and only through balance was he able to try to juggle all 3 of them. There is another option related the fact that this is a story and only follows the logic the author is able to keep track of in the moment. It is likely that the actuality of using the final option to favor 1 of the 3 factions was just overlooked and will play no part as a faction weight otherwise Tyron would have made a big deal about it as Tyron absolutely does not overlook the weight of choices. It will likely be just something overlooked in the writing as opposed to an action within the story that was out of character.

Adam

I very much agree that it was odd he didn't choose it as it was specifically stated that he would have almost rather chosen nothing due to the few considered helpful also changing him in ways he did not want. Ruler of Shade was an option, even if never used, that would have at least not changed him, so an option he considered harmless. It is also telling that he didn't consider regions outside the one he is in. Yes he is known but the worldbuilding implies his family is likely somewhat known everywhere but only famous in his own region and he could have used all the help he can get trying to blend in while infiltrating the greater world once this region is "taken care of".

Adam

So, the answer to "Do I need your help to get there?” is YES. If he doesn't want to learn about zombies and all that "jazz", then he will NEVER be an [Arch Necromancer]. He can call himself a [Spirit-Bone King], but that is about it. Once again, "Unparalleled at the craft of Necromancy." means FAR more than bones and spirit flesh. He only knows a narrow sub-set of the full craft. Sure he will be amazing at the narrow sub category, but the craft of necromancy is far, far wider than what he has mastered.

lenkite

Thanks for the chapter!

Wensber

Thanks for the chapter!

Gopard

I will never like currying favor the entire subclass had suboptimal choices with a few occasional synergies, but after reading throughout the story his hatred for these choices that curry favor he picks them it’s annoying he has avoided these quasi gods as much as possible i see this as bending the knee and a waste of a point. So far in this entire story only three choices piss me off the vampire mind control, undying endurance(logically this only benefits him running away with quicken blood he isn’t a tank), and currying favor

Greyg

Tyron was tempted to simply leave the selection blank, which would be a criminal waste of a feat, but spending one to do nothing other than appease one of the patrons felt like a waste anyway! This was a sub-class Tyron would be happy to abandon, despite the losses it would incur. It had helped to keep him alive when he was starting out, but it was debatable whether it was worth it any longer. Although if he dropped it, The Three would likely remove their protection from him… exposing him fully to the Five Divines. At no point is it stated they would remove his class only their support/protection of him he doesn’t have to curry favor i would piss on you before the poor its a waste of a feat

Greyg

Yeah again, Tyron states that if he could let go of the class, he would. The fact that it's maxed out is good because that means that this way of manipulating him is now closed. You don't even know what the favor will do to him and you're already writing it off as useless while the other options were altering him into a monstrosity. He already has enough trouble maintaining his humanity as is without deadening himself, getting a void soul or stilling his blood. The balance between the Three was broken when The Scarlet Court messed with his brain. Now it's fair game for everyone.

CentaureHeart

Both name wise and in concept I also prefer the Demiurge. But now that he's going to battle a lot, the Imperator seems the most useful for current Tyron.

Gonvas

He literally said that if he didn't then they would probably remove the class lol. I'd say your reading comprehension is piss poor, but then you'd think I was accusing you of pissing on the poor.

Deathburn

Thank you!

Andrew

They’ve allowed the realm to degrade, they allowed the divines to steal their divinity, they’ve watched their followers genocided for generations yup really helpful gods best to bend the knee to them it just cost a feat thats all

Greyg

Yeah but he doesn't want to learn about zombies and all that jazz. And as Greyg points out, his feats and skills aren't focused on them.

CentaureHeart

How is spending a precious feat point on currying favor not bending the knee? He is literally weakening himself with one less feat to appeal to quasi gods that have ignored this realm and had their power stolen by the divines he is hoping these gods assist him for a feat point. Forbidden one is maxed out he cannot gain more form it as far as we know he cannot select the other two currying favor options it’s weaksauce after reading multiple times he doesn’t want to curry favor he does exactly that

Greyg

It's not bending the knee he took a feat of his only patrons that have care about the rebels to some degree

Isiah Debarros

Arch necromancer likely unlocks flesh, but given how power is multiplied by feats specialization gives more power. Lets say he expands into flesh that another 4 feats if not vastly more he would need thats twenty levels plus he currently is specialized into bone and less so into spirits. Flesh gives him little benefit. Arch necromancer would work if he was focused on being a teacher to a generation of necromancers less so fielding a army bent on crushing an empire he needs raw power for that which specialized multiplicative feats provide

Greyg

That seems the be the standard gold necromancer

Isiah Debarros

I actually agree with all the choices. Ty is at war now, and he lacks the skills to command and control his undead legion- no amount of grinding and research was gonna fix that. Imperator was a badly needed solution to a problem he has no way to solve by himself. In peacetime, Arch-necromancer would've been an easy choice. Just because he can figure it out eventually, it doesn't mean it'd be soon. Kudos to the Fallen Shadow and Corroding Presence combo. This is gonna be a long war, full of long battles, It's never a bad idea to invest in stamina, even if that means people need to social distance themselves away from him (2 meters minimum?)

Runaway_Cactuar

Depends on how often he plans to fight with rebels. He could easily blend into a crowd in that case. But if his goal is to kill the heavy hitters, a bit of glamour isn't going to do jack. The guys at the top likely has the perception to overcome that. So I presumed it's useless in Boss Fights.

Runaway_Cactuar

> Arch-Necromancer: Unparalleled at the craft of Necromancy. > “Do I need your help to get there?” Yep you do. You only have a 1/3rd of the necormantic art. You don't know anything about zombies, demi-lichs, plague corpses, flesh-titans, etc. "Unparalleled at the craft of Necromancy." means FAR more than bones and spirit flesh. You only know a narrow sub-set of the full craft.

lenkite

he could dress the mages in robes and just change the face. If they're hooded I guess he doesn't need the spell, especially if there are limitations to changes to his face he can do. But still, it makes more sense to improve the spell he has if he doesn't want to use the other. Even if he has no plan to use stealth, there could come situations where it's helpful

stubs

So thorough-out the story the vampires and dark ones have tried to coax him to their side the abyss has never pushed themselves onto his choice, but the other two groups want him to choose a master the vampire mistress going as far as altering his mind somehow. It’s been stated multiple times this subclass is for his survival and so they get an agent a servant of chaos those three groups are competing for his choice the dark ones healed his body after the sword in gut they expected him to bend the knee then the vampires literally tell him to be a good dog. Choosing one of the groups to favor is making that choice its a commitment on his part with a feat to the dark ones how is that not a choice bending the knee that feat doesn’t provide him or his army power. Will the vampires be happy he chose dark ones i see them being furious with his choice will the abyss even notice they’ve never requested anything besides souls we have never been given their longterm goals. This subclass is now maxed out no more feats or power is attainable from my understanding

Greyg

He explains how he doesn’t want to bend the knee then bends the knee yup that’s an explanation

Greyg

How is making human faces with magick able to hide him among skeletons he can’t make himself into a skeleton with illusion magick. To make himself look undead would require the unliving visage spell think thats the name even then thats the face only i think by wordage. A new identity doesn’t benefit him much unless he invades the central empire stealthily which seems unlikely

Greyg

Straight up some minions? Rise up minions without all the craftsmanship and threading? Like right after they die? Storywise zombie specialist would be closer to this not needing to thread so Georg will be more capable of this than Tyron.

Greyg

Thanks for the chapter!!!

Sean Hibbitt

How is that bending the knee? It's just a strengthened connections.

CentaureHeart

honestly Im surprised he picked to curry favour over ruler of shade. Even if he was known to his enemies, the option for deception ( especially since he can hide his army ) is always an advantage. He could use it to diguise himself as one of his minions so they don't know where to strike. Plus it makes him less dependent on the Three's help

stubs

Horde seems more army focused could see this option unlocking additional battery/efficient feats. Demiurge fuses him with a dimensional mage

Greyg

It's what I would have wanted to take, but he's in a war and as Dove pointed out so long ago, numbers are a necromancer's friend.

Wandering Agent

Yeah it’s a neutral choice that doesn’t alter his body, mind, or soul again it’s him bending the knee to them

Greyg

He doesn't have Bone Sculpting as a skill he has Bone Forging. And I think he's actually happy that he won't have to pick up crazy skills/spells/feats from his sub class. He would to without if he could he just took a lesser evil.

CentaureHeart

He explained why lol....

Kyle Pemberton

He already has bone sculpting as a skill so doesn’t need bone mage for that its the ascendant one now he just got the feat just boosts it. Bone mage likely gives him more bone mastery feats maybe lets him get the 5th level of skeleton mastery he once had a thought that it existed unsure of how to unlock if it exists (forging and sculpturing is the same thing) the feat just gives him a boost from the unseen he doesn’t need a new skill or even the feat it’s only a boost

Greyg

Presence makes sense it benefits his minions above all else. These feats skills and spells are the last chance of grasping power from this subclass it’s now maxed out unless im missing a mechanic in this system. The subclass was provided by the dark ones, abyss, and vampires they want him to choose a master or accomplish their goals. His goal of revenge against the divines coincides with the dark ones that makes sense so far we don’t know abyss has an end goal besides souls and eating matter and vampires want to drain realm of blood siding with the three gods dark ones make sense, but wasting a feat for what essentially comes down to bending the knee to them. Just sucks

Greyg

Oh that last choice was greedy! I honestly really hope that comes back to bite him in the butt lol TFTC

braeden winstead

Make worthy into a wight a worthy wight

Greyg

‘ He had less than no interest in currying favour with the patrons, any of them, which left him with limited options.’ Then picks currying favor (it is not explained well enough it’s a waste of a feat)

Greyg

Demiurge, Imperator and Arch were the strongest contender. I think I would have been happy with all of them. Maybe a tiny bit more with Imperator because since Tyron is Tyron he could build his own realm on his own as well as become peerless in Necromancy. However I think Imperator is going to straight away increase his mana capacity and his ability to handle hordes and that's what he needs right now.

CentaureHeart

I think since he picked Bone Mage he will get Bone Sculpting as a skill with his subclass and not his main one. Could also maybe improve the feat Bone Mastery with it. I don't like the Favors either but I hated the other options even more, and like he says with Fallen Shadow the Corroding effect might be absorbed by it so that's good synergy as well.

CentaureHeart

Bone animator makes sense in my mind as it empowers his golems for the next fight he can pickup sculptor later once he gets back to rifts grinding levels again if killing in the city doesn’t get him 5 levels. Bone mage for more bone synergy works great. I will never like currying favor it’s a waste

Greyg

Puppet master build loading

Ej Speed

"He wasn’t sure what his patrons were pushing for him to be, but he found increasingly he didn’t care." That's the Vampire's mindfuck talking and that's not good. Hopefully Worthy can knock some sense into him.

CentaureHeart

I would have done Arch-Necromancer

DagNabItAll

Hoping this class combo lets him straight up some minions at some point. Would definitely be gnarly

Lucas Gulick

Not really, he took it as a staying power for his Skeletons but he still doesn't want to turn himself into an undead. I would have made him choose both the abyss and dark favors. I'm more surprised about the Bone Animator rather than Sculpting, but the Bone Mage class should be good enough.

CentaureHeart

Your own magic doesn’t effect you. He’d have mentioned suffering from his own curses by now

Conspirant

I can see Tyron becoming a tiny god of undeath studying for all eternity lmao

BubblyGhost

good synergy with the choices

Kris Piskorski

WTF currying favor? What a waste of a feat the very last grasp of power available to a sub class you have corrupting presence that puts death energy into the living Tyron is also a living being unadapted to death magick himself he needed dead flesh for that adaptation make it make sense just bite the bullet and pick both feats currying favor with one of the three groups is a cop out essentially bending the knee to them

Greyg

Thanks for the chapter! Not going to lie, I was hoping he'd snag the Demiurge option, I lowkey love the idea of the ossuary becoming more and more intense until he can open a door to a tiny realm of the dead.
