Chrysalis publishing
Added 2021-10-11 07:09:59 +0000 UTCI wanted to wait until I had something more concrete to post this news but it's taking too long because I'm too damn slow at editing.
At any rate, I signed a publishing deal with Aetheon publishing, same people who publish half the stuff on Royal Road, like He who Fights with Monsters, First Defier and so and so on.
An unfortunate part of this meant that the audiobook rights were sold, which meant that agrosquerril needed to take down his Chrysalis work, which genuinely pained me. He'd done a great job with it and I'd listened to a good chunk of his recordings myself, but there was no option to sign the deal without audio being a part of it.
What does this mean? It means that once I get my butt in gear and finish editing it, I'll be turning over the volume one manuscript to them and from there they'll sort out release dates, getting the cover sorted, recording the audiobook and then Chrysalis will hit Amazon and Kindle Unlimited.
I'm super excited about it, but as we all know, the early chapters of Chrysalis are a little... iffy and I'm having to do a heavy edit. Editing 180k words isn't a light task and so I apologise if the release schedule has been or continues to be wonky. Editing is taking a lot of my time and mental energy right now, but I hope to get through it soon... (ish).

2021-10-11 14:37:15 +0000 UTCI have to honestly say I didn't like Argo's Audio narrations. I find his tone and speech often irritating. Nothing against him personally, it's still amazing what he does, but I'm happy that someone else narrates Chrysalis now.
