Big Necromancer Update

For those who like to read, or have read the side-fictions I have in the stickied post, then good news, four new chapters of Necromancer have been added, over twelve thousand words.
I've gotten the story to the point where the 'introduction' section is basically done and I'm more or less happy with it. Still needs an edit and certain sections need working on, but overall I think the concept is coming through.
I tried to take a more mature tone with the writing this time and I have to say that it didn't really come naturally to me, I guess I'm more comfortable with goofy, breezy narrative than trying to be a bit more gritty.

In terms of publishing this novel, I think I'll keep plugging away with it until I feel like I've finished 'volume one' then I might start to publish it on royal road before putting the volume on Amazon.
Speaking of which, Volume One of Chrysalis is not far away! Art teasers to come!

I bet Worthy was pissed the parents didn't arrive on time to help avoid some of this stuff, like the mana poisoning and maybe help Tyron disguise his class (if that's possible). Either way, I can't wait for the next update. My heart was racing when he was trying to escape the town. "You should have cared more for the living" is a sick quote too. Awesome job man.

2021-08-07 19:16:36 +0000 UTCThey definitely know more about his subclass then he does and there’s something about a brand on his parents that harms them if they do harm onto citizens so we got some society control over hunters they either know about necromancers or she just studies magic and they have fought necromancers or undead monster at least much more unlikely they have business with necromancers

Seems like his mom might know a necromancer or two so it stands to reason that they don't care how you get the job done as long as it gets done. But man... way to completely wreck the mayor completely. I wonder if it was all just his moms doing or if his dad did some serious sword skills
