For those curios the studio is Studio Bind which was made from White Fox Staff & I think some other people since they were passionate about making an Anime for Mushoku Tensei

2024-06-07 02:54:51 +0000 UTCyeah so this season even with cutting intros and outros and extending time still does not cover everything and it can make it pretty confusing. They also skip over useful information and sometimes important things. They skipped Subaru asking Echidna about the sin archbishops, to which Echidna said she knew nothing of, meaning that they had to come after the witches were a thing. They skipped the witches mentioning that Satella is a separate personality from the witch of envy. They skip mentioning how Echidna was trapped by Roswaal's family on order of the dragon that watches over the kingdom. Even when they skip that stuff you guys still get your guesses correct very often. No one picks up on the fact that Roswaal beat Subaru up cause he wanted to force him into looping, not understanding how Subaru triggers it. You guys did tho. You should give yourself more credit. You've figured most things out besides the main mysteries of the season. But those will be getting answers soon. Some within a few episodes actually but obviously no spoilers so have fun with that when you get to it!

They got more staff, enough to run another big anime recently, and are releasing the third season of Re:Zero this October. From all the trailers and teasers for that, it looks like it could be better than the first season's quality. Things seem to be so good for them, in fact, that they're having a 90-minute special first episode, and not by combining later episodes. They're even going to do a theatrical run of it in Japan apparently. The other interesting news about S3 is related to its announcement poster that includes characters from Arc 6 of the novels (for reference, S2 is Arc 4), which means we could be getting up to 50 episodes. No official confirmation on the count though, at least for now.

2024-06-06 20:16:52 +0000 UTCFrom my understanding, some staff on White Fox went to make a new studio because they wanted to work on other projects. Re:Zero S2 probably suffered because of that, but it's hard to tell since it came out during the pandemic with all of the production issues that brought, like forcing the season into two cours instead of airing it all in a row like they originally planned, the lack of shading in the ears and eyes compared to the first season, the occasional faces or poses that look slightly off, the slower pace, and a bit more usage of CGI. Regardless of those things, I don't think it's bad, nor that it's too slow, especially during the latter half of the season. If anything, it only gets more riveting and exciting before exploding near the end of the season with a wonderful climax that makes you look back on the season with a new appreciation for its setup. And honestly, it hooked me so much with the last handful of episodes that despite the extended run, it felt like it all went by super fast lol...
