It didn't mention it in the anime, but in the manga during the fight with Dagon, they explained that Playful Cloud(The Triple Staff) is the only Special Grade cursed tool that doesn't have a curse ability. Which means it's strength is entirely dependant on the users. When it got into Toji's hands, the guy with the most raw power in the series without cursed techniques, it was pretty much over for Dagon. Not really the most reeling fun fact, but I thought it would be cool to mention.
