Super late on this but that isn't a whitebeard line it's a Zoro line which he says to Mihawk after losing to him in very early one piece. White beard might of said something like that I cannot recall but Zoro said it first.

Season 2 especially, because, mostly in its latter half, they start to not have openings or endings and cut their ad time to make 30 minute episodes of pure content. That, alongside with the amount of thinking the show makes you do overall, it for sure takes more effort than the average series to review and condense into the type of content that you guys make. So half of me wants to say just bite the bullet now, but honestly, if it's too hard on you guys, that's completely understandable. Maybe there's a compromise to be found though by sticking with it for now, and when fullmetal ends, go to a single episode format for whatever series you choose next in place of it, and use the time you'd usually spend doing two episodes a week for that towards re zero? Just a thought.

Personally, I'd prefer you both sticking with the director's cut. Maybe you could split it up into 2 parts on YT a week, like FMAB, but keep the Patreon version as full length? Actually, wouldn't that be more work LOL? Cause in those cases you can have more footage per YT video. Maybe that's worth it though for viewer retention and ad revenue reasons?
