I think, Harry will accept Heirship of House Black. Mr. Tonks is right. With the political power of House Black, Harry can protect Itisa. With the backing of Andromeda this move will eliminate Draco's bid for lordship of House Black. In addition, might be necessary for Harry to enter into betrothed contract with Nymph to have higher claim to Heirship. :-)))

2026-02-09 07:35:52 +0000 UTCSo, Greengrass wants Astoria become Lady Black. I guess the cause of Astoria's sickness was family magic of House Black. Hence, when Astoria becomes a Lady Black, magic of House Black will cure her. Or Vaults contain cure for Astoria's sickness.

2026-02-04 11:17:03 +0000 UTCBecause House Greengrass is not exactly the sharing type, and second, as far as Daphne is concerned, the sickness cannot be cured, so why tell Harry, she does not want his pity. It's similar to Neville's case; he didn't go around telling people that his parents were tortured to insanity. Daphne doesn't go around telling people that her sister is sick from something that might kill her.

2026-02-02 17:12:16 +0000 UTCSirius is sentenced for life in Azkaban, so The Ministry of Magic and Daphne's mother want a new heir. Itisa will not be happy if a Dementor gets close to Harry.

2026-02-01 14:01:08 +0000 UTCIt's time for the Tonks to let Harry chart his own course. He shouldn't expect hand-holding forever. Is he young? Yes. Is he accomplished? Yes. Is the number of vultures circling him unfair? Probably. Do I care about his feelings on the matter? No. Actions have consequences. Being this economically and technologically powerful make him a big target, especially when he's only a teenager. Being able to make such technological advances doesn't mean anything if you don't have the power to safeguard your autonomy and agency.

2026-02-01 09:20:03 +0000 UTCPlease tell me if harry becomes lord black. AND also why hasn't daphne told harry about her sister sickness. If harry finds a cure for the greengrass then maybe being in the foundation could be a partnership rather then an asset they control

2026-02-01 06:57:41 +0000 UTCI have a few questions, First question: Sirius Black is in Azkaban for life and that seems to mean he has no connection to his rights or powers as Lord Black. Did he actually have a trial? If not, how does that affect this situation? Second question: is the reason the Greengrass family want Astoria to become the new Lord/Lady Black the hope that her magical ailment ends when sheβs no longer magically a Greengrass? What happens to Daphne as a result? Third question (and this is purely an exercise in what if that should obviously not matter in this narrative (g)): a dementor, for whatever reason, decides to dine on a magical child of, oh say twelve or thirteen years. Said child has made the acquaintance of a nundu and said nundu is not amused at the dementorβs dinner plans. Just how horrific would their dispute be for anyone nearby? And how far away might still qualify as 'near by'? Sidenote: whatever else, I am hoping for Astoria's survival. Not at all costs, mind, but she's done nothing to deserve suffering like this.
