Tywin is a man blinded by Legacy. The reason why he wants Adrian to stick around is because he wants Adrian to make a very important decision soon.

2025-12-27 16:51:15 +0000 UTCIt's one thing to lift a lightsaber toy, and another to lift a two handed sword, Valyrian Steel or not, a 6 year old might be able to lift it a little, but the steel is taller than Adrian himself, so Adrian would never be able to lift without grasping the end with his bare hand, on top of that, he needed enough strength to pierce the man's armor and then body.

2025-12-27 16:50:05 +0000 UTCPart of me has to wonder if Tywin, for all his strength, could be backed into a corner... although his sister and brothers do not yet question his decisions, the idea of keeping a six year old in a war zone, testing Jaime or not, and focusing only on his growth and contribution to his legacy over that of the impact his injuries had on him would be telling enough... Also, in an ironic way, one could argue it was Tywin's fault Adrian was captured, as the boy has pointed out the Ironborn ships near Lannisport's harbor that day, and his "father" blew it off, thinking the suspicious looking ships weren't a concern... even when any maid, servant, knight, and fellow lord in Casterly Rock had acknowledge and respected Adrian's observant mind, so the fact Tywin had to be the one to blow it off at such a vital moment, has me hoping someone eventually points that out to the Old Lion's face... he cares so much about securing his legacy, but that won't matter if he gets said legacy killed before he can even rule...

2025-12-25 04:14:37 +0000 UTCI’m wondering if Adrian will use a sword and shield now instead of just using a sword. A shield wraps around your forearm, technically it would protect his wrist and hand if he has any problems with it once he heals. I think a lion stabbing and shield bashing enemies is also awesome.

2025-12-25 01:51:17 +0000 UTCHow much does this sword weigh? I'm pretty sure most weigh only a few pounds. I also thought Valyrian swords were lighter to begin with. If anything it'd just be awkward to carry. But I played with lightsabers when I was a kid and didn't have issues.

2025-12-25 00:31:32 +0000 UTCI do somewhat think that allowing Adrian to retreat further into his head is a bad idea which could be another reason as to why Tywin is doing this even if he will never say it. There is also the fact that he was taken by Euron in a place that was thought to be completely safe and no place that anyone would thinks of attacking, with that being proven wrong there is no safe spot to keep the kid then in the middle of the fleet..... additionally I wonder what Euron's plans are now that Adrian has been rescued .... as he sounded like he knew a lot more than he should of Adrian's origins
