I will never understand the Martells hate for Ned. Robert? Yes. Tywin? Of course. But Ned? The man who lost half of his family? And openly condemned Robert and Tywin of the death of Elia? Yeah, let’s focus on killing HIM of all people. The Martells lost their sister. So did Ned. They lost their nephew. Ned lost his brother AND father. The Starks lost more in this story than the Martells. Ned is painfully honorable in this story. He has done nothing to do deserve death. I don’t even like Ned all that much and I’m defending him. lol. That’s how you know a story is good that I’m legitimately upset over fanfic

Mimi13

Yeah, the two of them are blinded by their anger and do not realize how far they are going with Rhaenys.

Drinor

So Rhaenys' mind was poisoned by the Dornish to hate everyone... I don't doubt Doran and Oberyn blame Lyanna but they had to have known that Lyanna didn't seduce Rhaegar away from Elia. In any case, it's no wonder her mind is poisoned

Longclaw16

Awesome

Longclaw16

You should post 3 chapters a day instead of three a month it socks waiting this long

Bryan Hamstra

Yes. She is in Jon’s Harem.

Drinor

Sheira seastar is in this fic ?

Winter

Three times in two months. I'm sorry for late reply.

Drinor

How often can we expect updates for this story? I've wanted more of this particular fic ever since I read its predecessor that ended up being abandoned.

TheChosenOne

More is Coming

Drinor

More!!!!!!!

Michael Ellingsworth

When it comes down to it, both brothers want their revenge for what happened to Elia and Aegon. And the two are past the point of caring how they achieve that victory. Shiera will tell Rhaneys a few things, but eventually, she will find out who Jon truly is, and the way she finds out is kind of ironic. Another thing, Rhaenys, in this story, doesn't know that Lyanna was ever pregnant, so she cannot connect the dots of Lyanna being pregnant and Jon existing in the North.

Drinor

Hopefully, there is a record or letter somewhere that proves Elia was in on Rhaegar's relationship with Lyanna and that she felt the same way he did about her.

John M Pogue

If you know what is good for you, Doran, you better hope your plan fails. If Ned dies, not even your SunDragon will stop the She-Wolf and DragonWolf from coming and getting their revenge. Plus I don't think Oberyn would approve of his methods. Nice nod to Lyanna getting mad at Benjen for making fun of her crying when she heard Rhaegar singing. Hopefully, Shiera can talk some sense into Rhaenys and get her on the right path.

John M Pogue

Okay I was trying to guess the one remaining reason why she is in denial. But I should’ve known she wasn’t aware of Lyanna’s pregnancy. Otherwise she wouldn’t be so against the Starks…

TheWateringWizard

How she will find out the truth is the most important part of Rhaenys's character arc.

Drinor

Many characters in this story will point out that Dorne cannot be trusted after what happened with Daeron The First. Rhaenys will learn the truth, but it will take some time.

Drinor

Doran and Oberyn want their revenge, and they are past the time of caring about what they must do to get it. Shiera will help Rhaenys a little, but how she will eventually find out the truth is quite ironic. Rhaenys doesn't know that Lyanna was ever pregnant with Jon. She has no idea about any of that, but she will find out. It will take some time.

Drinor

Well Oberyn is stupid… but as Rhaenys keeps these thoughts to herself, how can she be set right…

TheWateringWizard

I’m sorry but the Dornish are being very selfish, immature pricks and they’re very unlikeable. Acting as if they’re the only ones who lost anything during the Rebellion… anyone in Dorne pretending that the Starks were in any way reponsible for the Rebellion needs to have their eyes and memory checked because it’s known that they rebelled only after Aerys demanded the head of Robert and Ned after killing Brandon and Rickard. Ned lost father, brother and sister to the Rebellion, plus all the Northern men who died during the war. Technically Dorne only lost Elia and Aegon so fuck Doran and Oberyn. Why aren’t they mad at the Tullys ? They lost nothing but still allied themselves to the rebels hoping to climb higher like the grasping pricks they are. Why aren’t they mad at the Tyrells ? Who did nothing during the war and could’ve probably helped saved Rhaegar and the Martell Kingsguard ? I can totally excuse Dany not knowing the truth behind the Rebellion. I can probably excuse Rhaenys because she’s young and very traumatised by the events in the Red Keep, she might not have been told the truth. But Doran and Oberyn ? Absolutely not. Trying to kill Ned to start a war and get your revenge ? Fuck these cunts. Or they’re incredibly stupid to believe Ned is in any way responsible for the Rebellion. Or they’re will fully lying… Great chapter! I hope Shiera can set Rhaenys up with the truth because it is hard tonight read her being so wrong and so angry against the wrong people. Is she in denial with Jon because she believes her Valonqar from her Muna Lya died ?

TheWateringWizard

Thank you for this chapter i hope he won't take too long for Rhaenys to learn the truth , I always wonder how the others kingdoms could trust Dorne after killing Daeron the first, a mean everyone give shit to Jaime for killing a king nobody like

MAEGHT Maxime

Oberyn and Doran told her that Lyanna seduced her father, which caused Rhaenys to hate the rest of House Stark. It also doesn't help that she is still young at this point in the story. Oberyn doesn't try yet to make Rhaenys not hate the Starks because in his mind, if one day, Rhaenys starts a war for the Throne, the Starks will not support her because of Robert Baratheon being best buddy with Ned, so Oberyn lets her hate them thinking it would be better for Rhaenys to not feel for the enemy.

Drinor

True but Oberyn and Doran were always hating and going after Lannisters and Baratheons. They hated Lyanna but not Starks who rebelled only after murder of their lord and his heir. Eddard even left KL in disgust after he saw what Lannisters and Robert did with Royals...

FangRu

Dorne only looks at what they lost and not at the others. This is why Rhaenys is bloodthirsty in this story. Oberyn and Doran filled her head, and she was there to hear her mother and brother die, so she’s not in the best state of mind, but out of all the characters in this story. Rhaenys and Jon will have the biggest development.

Drinor

No offense, but house Martell is pretty selfish. They think that they lost the most in the rebellion and that House Stark was to blame? House Stark lost just as much as they did, and Aerys was the one who started the downfall of house Targaryen when he decided to burn Rickard Stark alive and Brandon Stark killed himself trying to save him. Hell, most of their anger should actually go towards House Tully, House Baratheon, House Lannister, and House Tyrell since Robert killed Rhaegar, and laughed over the bodies of Elia and Aegon. Tywin ordered the murders of Elia and Aegon. House Tully betrayed house Targaryen, the house that raised them up from nothing after the conquest, for selfish reasons. And house Tyrell sat on their asses the entire war trying to besiege a single castle.
