And your telling me Harry wouldn't have been better off with a magical family? That only Peter, Rumis, and Sirius were only James friends? Not likely. Lily more than likely had friends as well that he could have gone to. And before you say, Death Eaters, then as long as Dumbo kept him mouth shut, Harry could have easily been raised by a magical family who actually cared about him and his parents. I always hated the take that Lily was basically a background character compared to James when, in my opinion, she's the one who more than likely came up with someway to save Harry, not that love bs Dumbo tried to tell Harry.

It should be an eventful time and I am certin Severus Snape is going to find it entirely too interesting, in the sense of the old curse.

This isn't a flat-out bash, but you are definitely going out of your way to make him seem bad. Minerva questioning why he never personally visited is moronic because he works three jobs, all of which are time-consuming by themselves. Honestly anyone that demonizes Dumbeldore for placing Harry with his relatives should really consider that it's better than being dead.

2024-07-06 18:31:32 +0000 UTCI am concerned that Dumbledore may be somewhat correct. If he loses his temper at Snape (who in canon treated him pretty meanly most of the time) it could be really bad. Or malfoy whose always more talk than action could still be taken as a threat and the malfoys have a lot of influence in the ministry. Hopefully they figure something out. I think daphne is just stuck up because she's a typical rich kid so for them to be better friends she'll have to learn to tame her ego somewhat.

Sure there is the one hiccup in the 2nd year, but after that she is his best most helpful friend. If her early attitude bothers you, remember she is an 11 year old child. One who grew up with no friends and books were her support growing up, hence her tendency to over rely on them.
