Teaser of The Conqueror of The Shinobi World Chapter 80 (Naruto's Treason)

The night was quiet. The only sound he could hear was the birds chirping and the sound of his own footsteps. His blue eyes found the gate of Konoha. He had seen it many times before, yet, now looking at it, only now he noticed that the painting had fallen off. The blonde felt a little silly that his attention was on the paint.

His eyes found a bench on the side of the road, a smile forming on his face. He remembered when he had eaten sweets with the immortal Chunins of Konoha. It was a Fun Time. A long time ago. Now, he felt as if he had been forever ago.

Taking another deep breath, he resumed walking towards the gates. A gust of wind passed through him, the sound of the branches hitting branches and the sound of footsteps behind him.

"What are you doing here so late, Naruto-Kun?" Ino's voice reached his ears, and the blonde male's face was emotionless, turning around to face her. She wore a sad look on her face, her right hand shaking while the other balled into a fist.

"I could ask the same for you, Ino. Go home. It's late for you." Naruto countered, ignoring her question. Ino felt her eyes welling up with tears, stomping the ground near her.

"The first time we met, we became friends, and when you joined the academy. Shikamaru, it's your best friend, and you're just going to leave all of us." Ino shouted at the end, tears rolling down her cheeks. She found it hard not to start sobbing.

Naruto's face remained as emotionless as before. If he felt anything, Ino couldn't tell, not anymore.

"You're right. Shika is my best friend, someone anyone would be lucky to call a Friend, but I have a mission to complete. I will ensure that people no longer live as I did." Naruto said with a serious but firm tone, preparing to leave.

"Why leave then? Konoha, it's your home. You could become Hokage and lead the Villages to a new age of peace." Ino shouted, feeling a tiny bit of hope that Naruto would see the truth. That he would return to them, to me, she thought, it wasn't too late yet.

"This System of villages is the result of this world's suffering, Ino. As long as it exists, there will never be peace. There will always be more and more wars. It will never end." Naruto spoke, looking at his open hand. The moon symbol was glittering.

"What do you mean? What is your plan?" Ino asked fearfully, the hope of him returning shattered like glass. Her heart was beating in her throat.

Naruto looked Ino straight in the Eye. "Total Revolution. This world profits from War. It was slowly built that way. The suffering won't stop as long as the Higher-ups earn money from spilled blood." He spoke sincerely. Before he turned around, soon reaching the gate, one more step and he would-

"I will stop you. Don't take another step." Ino shouted, forming the signs needed for her Clan's Jutsu. Ready to use it and take over his body.

Naruto looked over his shoulder. Her legs were shaking, and so were her arms. "Ino, the only reason you are worth a damn is because I trained you. If it weren't for me, you would still be a useless Fangirl." Ino felt like a knife had pierced her heart to hear Naruto talk to her that way with contempt. The worst part is that she knew he was right. Without him encouraging her to train, she wouldn't be at this level. She would either be dead or still a Fangirl.

"But you should know. I'm happy that you're strong-"

Ino's breath stopped when Naruto appeared behind her. "It was fun while it lasted. I truly thought of you two as my closest friends. Tell Shika that I'm sorry." Naruto spoke for the first time with sadness before knocking her unconscious.

Later

Reaching the top of a hill, Fuu and Roshi stood there waiting for him.

"Naruto-kun, are you alright?" Fuu was the first to ask. Checking on him, the blonde smiled at her before facing the Red-Haired Jinchuuriki.

"Where to now, Naruto-Sama?" Roshi asked, bowing his head to his leader.

"We have a revolution to end. Straight to Kiri."
