Brittany still believing in Santa is just adorable. It really shows her optimistic personality and a sad Brittany is heartbreaking. Rachel really does not know how to accept ‘no’ for an answer. She has grown up with two ‘yes’ men as fathers always giving her what she wants and showering her with praise for even breathing and teaching her that a song can fix anything that she just doesn’t understand that she is not entitled to anyone’s forgiveness. At this point it’s not just about what she did, it’s about accepting and respecting Finn’s decision and learning from her mistakes. And also that sometimes a song can’t fix it but instead time, space and proving you have learned by your actions.
