You guys already know I was implementing that upshift kick already, that is getting better over time, but still there is a bit of improvement to do
I was thinking of a way to make it sensible enough for slower cars to activate it without it sending you over the steering wheel in faster cars like F1s
It would be funny for sure but probably not optimal haha
I already have something in mind to improve that
Also, using the same kinda logic I will try to also push the head forward a bit under breaking as it is a bit too static for now
Along with this there will be some minor improvements done
About the filter, remember the whole rework I had to do to get there filter looking better ?
So, I am currently trying something...
That is getting rid of the old yebis integration and replace it with a new tonemaping setting
This will give an improved control of light and color
The light will be more noticeable, essentially, dark things / things that are in very dark shadows will no longer go instantly pitch black
This new tonemaping setting will control those scenarios much better
I'm expecting the filter to look similar to what it looks now during the day, but better in darker and very dark situations
Also there will be a new feature that I always wanted to implement but was limited because of the old integration
This feature will create a tiny bit of a fade in dark shadows
You know when you get into a very dark room and things don´t go pitch black but instead a dark noisy gray ?
Thats kinda what Im trying to do
Currently I'm still calibrating some things, as the base of the filter is completely different, but I'll do my best to do those as fast as possible
It will also improve performance a bit but this time not as noticeably, still, free performance is always welcome haha
I'll probably post some photos of the filter as it gets developed so you guys can see what I'm talking about
