The only criticisms I have of this series are that it is never explained who the older man is who Dan is brought to see, which I think would be helpful (although I do agree that he subtly threatens Dan, or at least those who Dan loves) and that the timeline is unclear for when that scene with Dan and the older man takes place. I think it takes place between the last time we see Dan talking to Sean earlier in the episode and the scene in the hospital. So I don’t think Dan has any intention of betraying them until he is forced by threat of violence to spill what he knows. That means he has never planned to betray them before now, and it’s only because he thinks it’s the only way to keep them all from being killed. I agree with what you said about the performance of First as Yok in this episode during the scene in the hospital hallway with Dan. I’ve always known that First is a terrific actor, but that scene absolutely blew me away.

Or at least, use alot of violence against Dan's parents. I'm sorry, but the threat was kinda obvious, the old man just made it sound more polite.
