Vidcon + Cancer Update

Hi all, I thought it might be a good idea to write a brief "life update" summarizing what all has been going on in the Topless Topics world.

So, first the good thing. I just came home from Vidcon 2024, and while the con itself was (as usual) not particularly useful to those of us who fall between either side of the "super famous influencers" and "adoring fan" spectrum, it still served as a fun way to meet other creators big and small, and I am working now on both a condensced vlog of my escapades while there, as well as a comprehensive review of what was good, what needs work, etc. More importantly, I did have conversations with numerous creators who expressed an interest in letting me interview them, so I'm trying to work out how to get those balls rolling. Some of the creators are even fairly large, so those should be exciting interviews, for sure, that may bring some new supporters into the TT community!

Now, the bad: those of you who follow me on social media (links to everything as-yet-unbanned at https://www.toplesstopics.org/contact ) most likely have already heard this, but about a month ago we found out my dad has gallbladder cancer, and even though they took the gallbladder out, there's still most likely some left that we have limited options for treating (given that he's already 81 years old and in frail health). Right now we're dealing with a whirlwind of daily visits from physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and we're going to be starting him on an at-home form of chemo on the 10th. All this is, of course, in addition to the joy of having my 6 and 8 year old kids home for summer "vacation," which only adds to the chaos.

So basically, a lot of things are "up in the air" right now, both as far as Topless Topics and my personal life go. Even as I write this, my kids are fighting and screaming over the TV remote, making it that much harder to concentrate on anything (: Thanks everyone for your patience, and at least by September, the kids should be back in school finally, so that will give me at least a LITTLE more time to work on content creation!

Also, as far as livestreaming goes, streaming to Joystick on Tuesdays is basically impossible since kids aren't allowed on screen since it is a porn site [I don't do anything pornographic myself, merely work on editing my videos or drawing more free the nipple t-shirt designs, but as we all know, the ONLY online platforms that allow female nipples in any context also allow full porn] and my kids are harassing me 24/7 all summer. I'm trying to keep my Friday streams 12-3pm PST at https://www.twitch.tv/cerigotgame but it depends on what therapist and other visits get scheduled for my dad, who I'm sole caretaker for, and have to drive him and stay with him at all appointments [while juggling the kids (: ] so I have to call whether the stream is canceled or not pretty much same-day.

The best, most immediate way to stay current on all things Topless Topics is to join our Discord at https://www.toplesstopics.org/chat where you can also make some like-minded friends, so please join us :) Otherwise, follow my various socials at https://www.toplesstopics.org/contact and I'll keep you all as updated as I can!

overworked or not, I appreciate it. It's a lot, for sure...mayyyybe my dad will respond well to the chemo and things will get better for us, but it's just as likely that it doesn't work and we lose him by christmas :sob: And this is all without taking into account the fact that the peertube instance where I host my videos, TROM, is going to have to close at the end of the year if they can't establish enough donors, which means all my patriarchy-unfriendly videos will be lost forever because I don't have the energy or spoons to reupload everything yet again: https://www.tromsite.com/donate/

I know this is an overworked phrase but my thoughts are with you and yours.
