Patreon is in the process of rolling out annual membership as an extra option for patrons. It's completely optional, but if you switch now you'll be able to save 10%, or one free month plus change.

2020-10-21 21:12:43 +0000 UTCPatreon doesn't reimburse me the 10% and I don't think it has any effect on fees or taxes, at least on my end. The idea though is to make up for the discount by convincing people to commit, rather than just pledging for short time and then leaving. A pretty big chunk of patrons delete at the end of each month so I'm hoping this will help hold onto more people. And yep, I get the full payment up front. Patreon takes 5% of all pledges but they don't do anything else with the money.
