Character recommendation (Goal 4) Update

I like the idea in general but it would probably have to be limited to gambling or something. Otherwise I feel like it might be op.

Just got an idea: a person who somehow managed to get access to a luck skill/or bad luck resistance (maybe survived a hit from a meteor or something more creative) and his class is gambling related Edit: could be balanced by also having bad luck so more the ability to influence when but a char who lives through gambling and is pretty infamous sounds fun

I like this one, would have to be quite a bit later in the story though I feel. The ability fits well with the so far rather elemental focused elves.

You really want other people to make Ilea stronger :P. I like the class and can work with it. The summoning a helper for others is a no go though. Simply because everyone would have one then. If her class exists like this then there have to be others and thus everyone above a certain level range or age would one hundred percent have a soul friend like that then. At least that's what I think. Could you live without the ability to summon a permanent familiar for others? Maybe just for herself?

I like this one but to me it feels a little too much like how Ilea fights. The gravity part is cool but honestly it feels a lot like the chick from my hero academia and I don't really like the ability that much...maybe some alterations/ideas? I favor your other characters though :D

And add a hive mind to them? I like the idea. Maybe even as a questgiver or something. And they're more focused on looking beautiful and diverse than just taking over everything. Would you agree to those suggestions?

This one works but I feel like I'd use the conductor class as a deus ex machina and it would just save everyone every time ^^. Maybe just for his own skills? He can also absorb some mana from enemies though which he can then use against them?

Undead kittens you mean, heh. Maybe there can be something similar arranged. The necromancers are at a completely different place but I can work with this. You want undead kittens with sentience, I can provide.

I like the backstory and ideas for classes but the way you describe them they're way to overpowered. Mirror class: I hate the clone thing in anything really. Fighting yourself at full power seems like too strong and would work against any enemy regardless of level. I want at least some sort of balance, even though I know it's arbitrary. What about something like the girl in the first Naruto arc who had mirrors placed around people and could attack from each of them? It's both an illusion and barrier spell very hard to get out of but uses a lot of her mana to uphold? Regarding the time class: Time manipulation to that extent is something I want to avoid at all costs. I want it to flow the same way for everyone. What about something at a smaller scale? Like Kiritsugu from Fate Zero? He could make himself faster by 2 and 3 times for a short amount of time to increase his fighting ability. He did so through manipulation of time I believe. This could be combined with a ranged magic attack she used through her mirrors or something where the speed of the projectiles is altered in flight to make it harder to dodge. Tell me what you think about the suggestions.

I like this one a lot. The only thing I have a problem with is the witch that can simply curse someone like that. It seems a little too strong. Would it be okay if she's in that form because she fucked up with some gem and is now stuck with it. She has to figure out what the hell that gem was and find it to break the spell. Something along those lines.

The vampyrist class thing would cause a lot of conflict I feel and I wouldn't want to add that. Ilea also has Aki already and I'd consider that a pet. Would it be fine if I gave this one to someone else? Ilea can still pet it :)

Cook, alchemist, for some reason Ilea have stoped doing resistence training, for instance the arrows. She isn't using them to level up. She can ignore pain there is no reason not to use them. This alcemist is one of the teachers she can take classes under. She is quite intersted in seasoning for food. As she noted before poisions can have interesting effekt on the taste of food. While he is more interested in hiding the taste in the food, she have the opposite interest. And what better class for an foodlover to take than spesial cooking. Also I can't belive she isn't going to borrow some of those needles from her new teammate, beacuse she will need the curse resistance. next time she enters the dwarf dungeon.

New Character- Name: TK Orthalia; Primary Class: Mana Brawler; Secondary Class: Gravity Mage; Backstory: TK comes from a long line of famous fighters. His dad was a boxer, grandfather was a brawler, and his mom could hold her own against both of them. He was expected to continue the family tradition of walking in their footsteps of brawlers and fighters. However even though TK was really good at fighting. His mind always drifted away to magic. But sadly he never thought hed get to explore its mysteries. But the day came for him to choose his class and somehow an unknown class was available for him. Magic Brawler allows him to use mana while fighting. He is able to condense mana around his hands, both increasing the damage his punches do but also later able to shoot condensed mana bolts. He then continues to pursue his mage fighter blend by choosing gravity mage for his secondary class. He is able to increase or decrease the weight of him or any objects he wants. This allows him to throw incredibly strong punches with his [Mana Gloves] activated.

Garden of Carnivorous plants! Aromatic poison that makes you want to take a nap, acid drool that can be spat, poison needles/spikes/thorns that have paralysis poison. Instead of rather ugly carnivorous plants (Venus flytrap, I'm looking at you), make em pretty and colorful, like daffodil, tiger lily, fox glove, sun flower, etc.

New Character- Name: Kiro; Primary Class: Conductor; Secondary Class: Paper Ninja; Backstory: Kiro is part or the Unai tribe. The Unai are unique in the fact that when they are born, a ritual is done to ensure a strong link between the class and the person, thus gifting only one option for their Primary class. Unfortunately for Kiro this had some negative effects. His gifted class was Conductor. This allows him to absorb Mana from the outside. A tattoo was formed on his hand where the mana gets absorbed into. Unfortunately the strong link between his class made him unable to use any kjnd of Mana or magic at all. Instead he is only able to use the generated mana to power up other peoples spells and abilities. If he absorbs too much mana without releasing it he feels tremendous pain.his secondary class was granted to him after studying under the Ninjas of his tribe. He however was granted a unique class. He is able to manipulate his body like paper, folding and changing the shape. He is able to make razor sharp edges as well. He unlocked his aura and uses that to empower his skills. He is a strong ninja and mage support in battle, with impressive evasive and stealth abilities as well.

The swordmouth tiger mother that lives in the cave Llea picked as her home teleport. Perhaps the cave has a underground river connected to Lleas necromancer pals and tge stream the swordmouth tiger drinks from is contaminated with necromantic magic run off which makes the tiger and her cubs undead-sentient mutants. It could make for some interesting interactions with all involved parties down the line. Plus who doesn't love kittens?

New Character- Name: Artemis; Primary Class: Sage of Mirrors; Secondary Class: Time Witch; Backstory: Artemis is a half elf half human. Which is why she is being hunted by her people. She is an abomination in the elves eyes. Someone who must die. Her mother protected her for so long but when she turned of age her choice of class revealed who she truely was. When she picked [Sage of Mirrors], after looking at her reflection, her facial features turned human and her race stated Human. Her Elfish features captured in the reflection staring back at her. The Elves killed her mother, but forgetting that her mother was a powerful mage, they lost many in return. Her mother gave 3 instructions to her before she died. Trust in her new abilities. Find the Library of Chronos. And Live. After witnessing her mother sacrifice herself for her, she did just that. She developed her new class. Her [Sage of Mirrors] class allowed her to create a mirror which one could walk through and they could fight a reflection of themselves at full strength. This allowed her to increase her combat ability quickly. The downside is she could only create the mirror for 24 hours at a time. It cracked at 24 hours and if you were still in the mirrorverse (as she calls it) then you would be stuck in complete darkness and severe pain until she could summon the mirror again. She can summon the mirror every 12 days in the beginning. She goes to the Library of Chronos and studies for 2 years straight, finally granting her the [Time Witch] class. This class gives her strong manipulation to the flows of time. She can both temporarily stop and speed up/slow down the flow of time. This allows her a new amazing potential. She is able to put a Time Dilation on her Mirrorverse. Unfortunately at the level of both classes she can only increase the time spent in the mirror verse by about 30 seconds. Ilea ends up saving her from being killed by a powerful elf. By the time she meets Ilea she is close to level 200 in both classes and can call her mirrorverse skill every 2 days and with a 2x time dilation. So every hour in the real world is 2 hours in the mirrorverse. She can also allow 2 people at a time in the mirrorverse, facing off against their inner reflection at full strength. However the 24 hour rule still applies and if the mirror shatters before your exit, with the time dilation you will be trapped in endless darkness and pain for 96 hours. Artemis feels the pain regardless of if she is in the mirrorverse or not. Artemis can also forcibly remove you from the mirrorverse. She also has strong combat and defensive magic relating to her classes and a passive that allows her to change her appearance by changing her reflection. She repays Ilea for saving her by helping her advance her skills to level 3. Also may help her find a way to a 3rd class. Is still constantly on the run from Elves as they found a way to detect her.

New Character: Name: Jemma; Primary Class: Beast Morpher; Secondary class: Gem Mage; Backstory: Jemma is a level 125 Beast Morpher. She can morph into any Beast that she has either defeated or made a pact with. She is able to gain different skills based on the beast she is transformed in. Her secondary class is a level 110 Gem Mage. It is an evolution of Earth mage. She is able to control stone and earth, but her power shines in utilizing gems to attack. Based on the gem she is using she is able to differentiate her attacks. From long ranged to magical, by channeling energy through a gem she can gain different abilities. The interesting thing about Jemma is that she was cursed by a witch. During one of her Transformations a witch cursed her causing her unable to untransform. She is stuck as a 3 tailed Fox. While in this form a jewel is in the center of her forehead allowing her to use her Gem mage abilities. She is searching the world to find the witch and either force her to undue the curse or kill her.

I think a week or two is fine for suggestions.

A small monster/critter that preys on illeas major weakness the power of cuteness and awwww. The critter is actually a parasite/symbiote with mind bending levels of cuteness and minor electricity powers (think Pikachu). During an extended petting session it bonds with illeas life and mana such that separation or death will cause a long term but recoverable debilitation (and lots of sadness 😭). Becomes illeas permanent pet/companion. Backstory is its the baby of Kyrians pet and that a substance made from the creatures is what gives the Vampyrist mage class.

Gender: Male Name: Rennir Noekai Class: Barrier Mage, Famdul Void Creator Level: 200+, 210+ evolved barrier mage from Classic Mage class by solely focusing his magical might on creating, altering, moving, and destroying different barrier spells. Famdul Void Creator evolved from Famdul's Arcanist, essentualy it is now a space manipulation focused class, as in; its bigger on the inside, the week long trip took 2 hours to walk, bag of holding creator. Famdul's arcanist is like Ilea's Azarinth Healer, in that by drinking White Obsidion water you can unlock the class much faster than natural. he fights by creating barriers around his opponents then changes the shape of the barrier and alters the space inside the barrier to match. examples: shrinking the barrier into a sphere and forcing everything inside to contort into that shape, expanding parts of the barrier to alter the opponents body, shrinking a barrier filled with water to pressurize it and opening a small hole to attack. he has a fairly neutral personality(for that world) but has an unhealthy obsession with elves due to them slaughtering most of his village when he was 5 with his father sacrificing himself to fuel a forced teleportation spell on the elf sending it as far into the earth as he could, which is when the White Obsidian Water leaked out of the resulting spacial fluctuations.

New Character: Celeste. Primary class: Soul summoner. Her initial class as summoner evolved into soul summoner. This class acts as a normal summoner, allowing her to summon different familiars to fight alongside her. What makes it unique is that she can peer into others souls and summon out their spirit familiar. She is able to create a soul bond between the familiar and the Person. The familiar is then able to be summoned at will by its master. Soul Summoning can only be done once every 6 months and uses a lot of outside resources (mana crystals, other stuff). I picture Ileas familiar to be water based like a jellyfish lol. Celestes secondary class has to do with crafting. Celeste joins Ilea on her adventure, inevitably revealing her soul summoning class and gifting her with a soul familiar. The familiar runs off the owners energy and has a class as well.

My character addition: His name is Locklin. His class is Augmentor. He is able to turn his skin into any substance that he touches. For example if he touches metal he can become coated in metal, same with rocks, water, gas, whatever he touches and absorbs the properties of. His secondary class is Repulsion Monk. This class gives him a strong fighting class with a unique ability to send repulsion blasts through his fists which both can reflect magic and projectile attacks as well as blast targets back with a strong force. His backstory is that he is from another planet and was sent to this world unknowingly just like Ilea. He discovered his primary class in a hidden temple and was found by monks that ended up teaching him their ways to fight which led to his secondary class.

A friendly elf maybe hunted by his own people ilea sees the persecution and steps in As for an ability one of the most op things I always think about is a person who summons and controls water in a sphere around them and is able to change it into different forms like a bird to fly a tentacle aberration for ground combat basically a water "battle suit" with imagination as the limit

First an intelligent Monster she meets (dragon or a hydra or wjatever mayve somobe else has a good idea)think that would be an interesting and different character maybe she looses and the monster spares here or vice versa Edit: Hm I think I leave the more detailed stuff to you but maybe a underwater turtle with a city of mer people build on it (if you have demi humans planned that is) Just what came to my mind if you think it too much don't add it to the poll

My mind went a lot of weird places with this one. I think I'll go with a more tame idea though and say a milk merchant. This milk merchant of course just happens to have hundreds of kids spread out across the continent, many of which are with other men's wives.

I want to recommend a merchant who will give it to her straight and is an overpowered X. She knows she can't beat him/her, but still tries. So she has to sell him/her stuff for him/her to fight her. "I have always wanted a black drake scale, that will be half a duel. " Llea frowns, "What does half a duel mean?" X replys, "it means I beat you to a pulp and get back to work." Something like that
