A Stop In The Woods
Added 2016-12-08 15:47:06 +0000 UTCA piece I've been working on in the week at work! I noticed that for a while, I make these character designs in more or less t poses... then never do anything with them. Don't have them interacting with others on in an environment, so I wanted to test myself.
It's pretty essential when you're thinking of maybe making a webcomic one day, yknow? Could I set an atmosphere or mood with a bunch of characters that I had made a while ago? Could I show what their personalities or general demeanors were without dialogue?
I attached to this post what the original character designs looked like that i doodled a while ago, a progression series of the drawing, along with the psd file so you all can see how i made it layer by layer (the ink and flat colour layers of the characters were flattened at one point though, sorry)
Update on december pictures: Currently roughed out 2 ideas for people. I am hoever really tempted to do a large group shot of all my patrons! How does that sound? Those roughs can then be made to fulfill November's batch of rewards c:
