Here is a quick summary of the story of INNERMOST!

The beginning of humanity’s second chance... or its final reckoning.

At the close of the 20th century, during a routine lunar expedition, astronauts make a chilling discovery: the remains of a colossal alien creature buried beneath the moon's surface. What they didn't know was that this was just the surface... of something far more terrifying.
Hidden deep within the moon lay a dormant colony of extraterrestrial beings. Sixty years later, they awakened—and Earth paid the price.
The invaders, known as the Galag, unleashed devastation on a global scale, bringing humanity to the brink of extinction. But somehow... we survived.

Now, in the year 2075, only one city remains: Turel.
A shining beacon of progress and luxury built atop the ashes of the old world. The war is over, and the Galag have been defeated—or so the people are told. The few remaining aliens are imprisoned in a forbidden wasteland beyond the city walls: the Black Zone.

But peace has a cost.

Outside Turel, in the crumbling outskirts known as the Gray Zone, the forgotten masses struggle to survive in the shadow of a utopia they can never enter. Tensions run high, secrets are buried deep, and not all Galag have been hunted down.
In the midst of this fragile balance, two lives will collide:
Eris, a young woman determined to challenge the system and fight for equality…
And a nameless Galag hunter from the Gray Zone, shrouded in mystery and driven by his own hidden past.
