2025-01-31 17:02:54 +0000 UTCI like both ideas - I once read a fic where omegas wanted their kids or siblings or parents _or_ partners around them during heats because it was more of a comfort/family thing and the whole thing was really well executed, so I enjoy less "traditional" heat/rut arrangements such as with a platonic partner - but I feel like with everything we know about Motoya's backstory, it makes more sense for him to always have dealt with his heats alone. He was *so* depressed and felt *so* alone and *so* undesirable that I think it would clash a little with having had a heat partner, even a friendly or familial one.
