The way he stares at Shouyou is so intense and so reminiscent of the intensity that he portrays on the court which is just further confirmation of how deep his love is rooted. I also love the image of Sushi’s little white paw and how it looks so much like Shouyou’s for in a cast, and it’s such an adorable little parallel. And then how much it means to Shouyou that Sushi is there. The level of permanence his presence suggests, it’s just so emotional and beautiful.
