Added 2024-08-14 10:11:19 +0000 UTCpatreon is upping the prices for subscriptions made to creators by the iOS patreon app! (android isn't affected!) this is a forced hand by the Apple Store (asses!!!) but i have chosen to absorb that cost so that u guys wont have to pay any extra!
however, please choose to pay your fees on browser from november onwards to avoid this and to be safe okie!

not a dumb question at all!! their screenshot says: “Before we go any further, we want to be crystal clear about one thing: Apple's fee will not impact your existing members. It will only affect new memberships purchased in the iOS app from November onward.” and it’s reiterated again in another screenshot that says: “This only impacts new members - nothing will change for existing members.” so yes, you’re correct! only if you’re a new member subscribing through the app
