I think both reactions are very valid, but I feel like version A flows well with his personality as we’ve come to understand it at this point in the timeline and works well with Tobio’s explanation of finding the right people you feel safe with and the right moment in time.

2024-07-20 09:20:04 +0000 UTCYou nailed EXACTLY what I've been thinking, especially with the "how do you know..." part from Kaien, that stopped me dead because I was like "Wait, what is this referring to?". Also, in the other version, I like that the second page ends with the same Kageyama as the third one begins, just older (this would look awesome animated, btw!) - that was an awesome transition and definitely my favourite part in this installment, so I'd hate for it to disappear.

I think I can see Hinata more in him in version A and Kageyama more in version B, both beautiful

I also gotta admit that Papayama really heals my inner-child with how carefully he talks to Kaien and helps him out, it’s something I didn’t get the chance to have so it’s really comforting to see and read, that was an amazing update Ally, thank you! ❤️

Idk for me the part where Kaien says "how do you know they are here for me?" Seems a bit misplaced because it kind of doesn't have a precedent in the conversation? Idk if I'm explaining myself 😅 maybe it's the way it was worded.

This version has me more in my feels tbh and I kind of feel like you see both Kaien and Tobio a little bit more vulnerable (which I do prefer!) but seriously, both versions are amazing and you're clearly outdoing yourself once again ally!! Love this with all my heart 🥹✨🫂
