I've talked before about how weird I feel drawing fanart. I still feel that way lmao. I started work on this after the ice storm blackout a couple months ago to try to get me out of the art rut I was in at the time. I guess it's nice to experiment with established characters to get the creative juices flowing.

I don't want to beat this dead horse or anything but this isn't my usual rodeo. I think I worry that by experimenting with it people will expect me to draw more of it? but I think yall are here for my own characters more than anything, since that's mostly what I do, and I think it's my strength.

I was kind of taken aback when I checked the fanart tag and saw that my first sketches of him were from april of last year! what the hell is going on with my life. time is so scary.

not sure how to really feel about this pic? it was an experiment after all. but there's things that I do like about it. someday I'll draw an o'donnel that I really like.
