Black people are out here worrying about surviving day to day, and you rich fucks are putting a white dude on the moon? You assholes are trying to build a stupid magic portal? There are real problems you could be using your incredible wealth, privilege, and power to address, but you’re spending it all on this useless shit? That said, I DO work in aerospace and regularly spend my own time and energy sending Whitey to the Moon, but I don’t set the budgets 😬. NASA does a lot of important scientific work, especially with regards to climate change. It’s not all useless shit. I’d cut our bombs budget WAAAY back before I touched NASA. I just think the point is we’re leaving people behind, and they’re suffering, and as a country we could easily fix it but we don’t care to. Wizards, get your priorities straight.
