2025-03-06 13:08:28 +0000 UTCAre you thinking of doing all 3 seasons of Yellowjackets? Season 1 was quite good. Season 2 less so. Season 3, so far....well I'm only a few episodes in and unsure about finishing...it's gone steeply downhill at least so far. Sorry I gotta be honest -- even one of my favorite shows ever (true detective season 1) I freely admit, seasons 2 and 3 stink. Season 4 is good again and has ties to season 1. With Yellowjackets, I think season 1 is definitely worth watching tho...maybe even 1&2. (not my first, second, or even third choice but an interesting choice)

2025-03-05 22:28:25 +0000 UTCThe only two I haven't seen are Silo & Firefly. I have friends who would literally fight me if I disparaged Firefly, so it would be cool to watch that with you. I was surprisingly disappointed in Yellowjackets by the end of season 2. I love all the actors, but found the writing kind of blah. Perhaps watching it with you all will provide a different perspective. My thoughts on a few others... True Detective season 1 is really great for acharacter study type show. It would be a good replacement for The Last of Us in respect to morally complicated individuals. Fallout is great for world creation, it was just fun to watch. And Dark would be a good substitution for Severance in the "WTF is even happening with this show, yet I'm compelled to continue watching" category.
