I did not know about the games other than my Dau-in-law played and is crazy about them. So going in I knew it was about a man and a little girl in a zombie apocalypse. And that the cause was fungi. We're a healthcare family and this made for big conversation on several occasions because it is feasible. Anyway, I assumed Joel & Sarah were our pair and I was wrecked when she died. Pedro Pascal is such an amazing actor!

2025-10-10 08:17:12 +0000 UTCI usually don’t like zombie / dystopian / post-apocalyptic movies but this one was different. I love the characters, Pedro Pascal is fantastic! And I also love Tess! The actress who plays her, Anna Torv, also starred together with Sam Reid on another show, The Newsreader, and they are both amazing there! I hope one day you’ll check it out.

2025-02-13 19:22:54 +0000 UTCI love how they built the city environment outside the QZ...it looks so amazing with the trees and other greenery growing in the urban environment. It kinda beautiful, in a way. Except when you see the patches of cordyceps growing on the walls -- although they did an amazing design with all things cordyceps (the clickers, the spread of it across surfaces, etc.)...it is beautiful in its own horrifying way, but to scary to truly appreciate. 😂. Having Bella and Pedro in the same show always makes me wish Oberyn Martell had lived long enough in GOT to meet Lady Mormont.
