I honestly think "Hill House" is not going to work for you knowing what you said above. "Hannibal" is more crime, psychological drama. I would say there are some gruesome scenes, but it is not horror (like ghosts, paranormal, etc.). If the gruesome scenes are too much, that might not be for you either. I think we all want you to watch and react to shows you're comfortable with -- it's not fun to watch someone force themselves into a box where they're not at ease. You'll never enjoy it that way. Thanks for all that you do!

It has some creepy imagery but nothing close to Hill House as far as horror. It's much more psychological.
