Sometime ago I read a great fic where Aang actually died in the sphere of ice and some other avatars are born and die before they have a chance to achieve anything until… Zuko becomes Avatar. That was one freaky but very good read.

Since this is a kids show they had to say that, but what Aang really meant to say here was “blackmail is the least of his crimes, HE KILLED OUR FRIEND!!!
